We have continued to receive reports of scammers pretending to be Calgary Police Service officers & asking people to send money or pay fines over the phone. These illegitimate requests include transferring money to protect compromised accounts as well as paying fines. In some of these cases, scammers have used technology to make it look like they are calling from legitimate Calgary Police Service numbers, including those of our district offices.
The CPS will never call & ask for financial information or money, for any reason.
We have also received a report of a scammer asking for donations on behalf of the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. Currently, the @cpfyyc is not conducting any phone campaigns to solicit donations.

Given his refusal to repeal the ‘no new pipelines’ law, Canadians need to know why @MarkJCarney is so against building Canadian pipelines while his company buys pipelines in the U.S. and around the world.
Would Canadian pipelines compete against and hurt his portfolio? We need to know about these issues before the election is held.
