I’m the guy who crops THE ODYSSEY for the non-IMAX theaters. Chris said I can just do whatever because it doesn’t matter to him and he doesn’t care about you at all if you aren’t seeing it in IMAX 70mm, so I just tried to have fun with it

The Academy has heard you complain the Oscars should be earlier and have now… doubled down on March. The next Oscar ceremony will happen on the exact same weekend: March 14, 2027. And the one after that — the 100th ceremony — was just dated, too: March 5, 2028.
