Arkadaşlar @Turknet almayın aldırmayın. Ayıplı hizmet satıyorlar. Hafta 7 gün ama 2-3 gün internetiniz olmuyor. İstanbul'un göbeği Beşiktaş'a internet vermekten aciz bir servis sağlayıcı.

Imagine having full websites onchain. The cost and technical reduction. Not just static html pages, but logins, setting admins or moderators. Processing for shopping platforms.. All this is possible. No more constant domain fees, no websites to be hacked (they won't have the information hackers are looking for). Soon .. catching up with some other work and then spending some focus on this task (the foundation is already designed and working).

Sent Bitcoin from a handheld radio today. No internet and no phone signal on the handset. A LILYGO T-Deck Pro running Meshtastic holds its own wallet. I typed an amount and pressed Enter. It signed the payment itself and sent it over LoRa radio in three small pieces. A relay at home with WiFi passed it to the network. About ten seconds later it was in my phone wallet. The key never leaves the handset. The relay cannot change or spend anything, it is only a postbox. The transaction id can go in a reply underneath, so people can check it: tx 03f57a25bf65f066a7e2e70fb7f4419222ef5f5a736669af56043c2ef6dc9dac

I'm American. I feel the lack of access to BSV on US exchanges as much as anyone. But access and liquidity aren't just an American problem. It's a global one, we've known it for a long time, and we're doing something about it. A lot is happening behind the scenes: exchanges coming on board, in some cases back on board, with real liquidity. Could the Association do a better job of telling you about it? Absolutely. We own that. Mistakes were made that contributed to BSV getting delisted in the first place. Not all of those decisions were made by the people here today, but the community paid for them, and we have to own them. A group of people organizing for the good of BSV in the USA, not waiting for someone else to fix things, is exactly the energy this community (and Americans in general!) runs on. I'd love to be part of it. But exchanges were never the whole point. Bitcoin was never just about speculation, buying and holding, and watching a chart. It's about use. The only way Bitcoin succeeds is if this kind of energy goes into building applications on top of the protocol, things we all want to use and build with. We can't lose sight of that mission. And let me be clear: the entire point of Bitcoin is that there is no king. By locking the protocol, no single entity can alter the foundation we're building on. Not the Association, not anyone. Nobody needs our permission to build, organize, or fight for it. The Association is simply people acting in the best interest of BSV, and for the first time, it's run by people who've been in the trenches with all of you. You're going to see a lot more of what that means very soon. That's why opening twitter and seeing a rebrand push is frustrating. Not because anyone needed to ask us, but because contacting CoinMarketCap and others to rename BSV, without talking to the rest of the people working on the same problems, doesnt feel super productive. Telegram, email, or DM me here. Nobody should be afraid to reach out. We're also starting working groups where people can build together. An effort like this could live under one of them. Not joining something we run, but being part of something we're all building. The oldest way to kill a movement is to splinter it. A new name and ticker just tells the world we can't agree on who we are. We're stronger together. Let's build solutions together.
What eCash, Sky & NEO teach us about a BSV rebrand cycle A rebrand changes the ticker and marketing optics. It does not change the ledger. Past examples: eCash (BCHA → XEC): Same chain + 1:1,000,000 split. Spiked ~1,200% on unit bias & new listings, then dumped 85%+. Sky (MKR → SKY): 1:24,000 split. No hype. Dropped 50% and just followed the market. NEO (Antshares → NEO): Clean rename. Rode the 2017 bubble to ~$200, then crashed 95%. The pattern: 1. Front-run thin books 2. New listings = exit liquidity for old holders 3. Slow bleed once hype dies For BSV: Exchanges list assets, not tickers. They dropped BSV over legal/compliance issues, not the name. A rebrand can reset marketing. It cannot create real demand. Utility does.

What is serendipity? Serendipity is finding something valuable while looking for something else. You set out to solve one problem, take a wrong turn, and discover something your original plan was too respectable to consider. It is one of life’s more elegant ways of exposing the limits of management. But serendipity requires more than an accident. A useful accident can happen in front of someone who dismisses it, tidies it away, and congratulates himself on maintaining standards. The discovery comes when somebody notices the unexpected thing and recognises that it might matter. Chance supplies the interruption. Attention makes something of it. Suppose you enter a bookshop looking for a particular novel. Beside it, you find a book on a subject you know nothing about. You open it, read a paragraph, and discover an idea that changes how you understand a problem you have been wrestling with for months. Finding the book was accidental. Recognising its relevance required everything you brought into the shop. This is why curiosity matters. A curious person gives the unexpected a little room to explain itself. Someone interested only in confirming what they already believe will walk past a discovery to purchase another reassuring opinion. There is, admittedly, a fine line between remaining open to surprise and spending the afternoon wandering about. Calling every distraction “serendipity” is a splendid way to dignify procrastination. The unexpected encounter must yield something worthwhile. Otherwise, you have simply missed your train. You cannot order serendipity to arrive at three o’clock with a supporting slide deck. You can, however, make it more likely: read beyond your usual subjects, speak to people outside your profession, investigate results that seem wrong, and occasionally allow a question to survive without immediately forcing it into a familiar answer. Then comes the less glamorous part: checking what you have found. A surprising connection may be a discovery, a coincidence, or nonsense wearing an unusually good jacket. Delight is an excellent reason to investigate. It is a poor substitute for evidence. Serendipity, then, is an unexpected opportunity recognised and pursued. It involves luck, but also curiosity, judgment, and the willingness to depart from the plan when the world offers something better. You went looking for one thing and found another worth having. The trick is to notice before you complain that it wasn’t what you ordered.

Bazı atasözlerini de güncellemek gerekecek... "Adam olacak çocuk "kodundan" belli olur"😊
Bu hafta sonu Çocuklar için Matematik Akademisinin öğrencilerinden biriyle sohbet ederken "hocam ben de kendi oyunlarımı yapıyorum" deyince "hadi göster" dedim... Scratch vb. araçlardan biriyle yapılmış bir şey beklerken bi baktım baya oyun gibi oyun. Seviyeler vs. var, keşfedilecek şeyler var, onları bulunca puan kazanıyorsun, kazandığın puanla yeni güçler satın alıyorsun... Bunu nasıl yaptın yaw dedim... Hocam Claude Code'a tarif ettim, beraber yaptık, babam da yardım etti dedi.

Fifth question on AI. AI is currently viewed as a centralizing technology – with ever-larger models, trained on much of the world’s knowledge, running on massive, concentrated compute, overseen by a few companies, and aiming to control and deploy all of that knowledge But many early computer scientists and pioneers thought of digital technologies as powerfully decentralizing, as Simon Johnson and I discuss in our book Power and Progress (hachettebookgroup.com/titles…). One such pioneer, Lee Felsenstein, wrote “The industrial approach is grim and doesn’t work: the design motto is Designed by Geniuses for Use by Idiots.” In the words of one of his collaborators, Bob Marsh, “We wanted to make the microcomputer accessible to all human beings.” And this wasn’t just an aspiration; they believed it was both feasible and natural that computers would empower individuals. The first newsletter of People’s Computer Company also captures this optimism: “Computers are mostly; used against people instead of for people; used to control people instead of to free them; time to change all that – we need a…PEOPLE’S COMPUTER COMPANY”. Should we accept centralizing AI? Or is there a way in which the promise of artificial intelligence can be realized while data, capabilities and control are much more decentralized both across domains and across people? Wouldn’t decentralized AI be more consistent with human agency and control? (Some of the ways in which greater decentralization can happen are discussed in my first post in this series.)
