🚨 DEEPER DIVE INTO THE MOST VALUE-CAPTURE COIN/TOKEN SO FAR: $IOTA I went back into IOTA because I wanted to know something deeper: WHO is actually using this infrastructure? Not narratives. Not random partnerships. Not “blockchain could be used for trade.” I wanted the actual institutions, governments, trade systems and tokenization activity. 🥶 And IOTA may have the strongest overall value-capture structure we’ve investigated so far. IOTA/TWIN is working on connecting: PHYSICAL GOODS ⬇️ DIGITAL IDENTITY ⬇️ VERIFIED TRADE DOCUMENTS ⬇️ CUSTOMS ⬇️ TOKENIZED OWNERSHIP ⬇️ COLLATERAL ⬇️ TRADE FINANCE ⬇️ PAYMENT / SETTLEMENT THAT is what caught me. A shipment of minerals, food, flowers or other goods can potentially become a digitally verified economic object. The documents can be tokenized. The parties can be identified. The government records can be verified. The asset can potentially become collateral. Then financing and settlement can happen around it. Now here is where my investigation gets even more important: TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION ≠ TOKEN VALUE CAPTURE. So does $IOTA actually participate? YES. Transactions on IOTA require $IOTA for gas. 🔥 Part of transaction fees are burned. 🔒 Onchain objects require IOTA storage deposits. 🛡️ Validators stake $IOTA to secure the network. That creates an actual economic relationship between: GLOBAL TRADE ACTIVITY → NETWORK USAGE → $IOTA That is what I’ve been searching for. Not simply: “Banks like the technology.” I want to see: IF THE TECHNOLOGY WINS, DOES THE TOKEN HAVE A REASON TO WIN WITH IT? With IOTA, I can actually see the mechanism. Now I’m not calling it perfect. I still want to see much larger production volumes, named global banks running major trade-finance flows and enough network activity for fee burns to meaningfully compete with token issuance. But based on everything I’ve investigated so far… 🥶 IOTA is currently one of the strongest — possibly THE strongest — combinations of institutional adoption + government integration + real-world usage + native token value capture that I’ve found. So far, I haven’t found proof that IOTA itself was directly named on the official Sibos stage or program. BUT LOOK AT THE CONNECTION 👀 IOTA is partnered with GLEIF around digital identity, organizational trust and global trade infrastructure. 🚨 SOMEONE ASKED ME TO LOOK INTO $IOTA… SO I DID. The deeper I looked, the more I realized money is only one side of global finance. The other side is trusted information about the real-world trade behind that money. That is where I see IOTA. Think about what global commerce needs: Customs Shipping documents Digital identity Supply-chain data Trade verification Cross-border coordination Before a bank finances a shipment, it needs to trust the information behind it. Who shipped it? What was shipped? Where is it? Who owns it? Did customs approve it? Are the documents real? That is why IOTA caught my attention. Its work around TWIN, TradeMark Africa, Kenya, customs infrastructure, digital identity and cross-border trade puts it in a very different lane from most crypto projects.
