IOTA-powered digital product identity is making its way into China’s manufacturing ecosystem. 🇨🇳
Orobo just ranked #1 in the “New-Generation Electronic Information” track at the Singapore Division of the China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition, securing a place in the Industry Finals in Shenzhen this November.
But the award itself isn’t the most interesting part.
@HelloOrobo is building Digital Product Identity and Digital Product Passport infrastructure on @iota, connecting verifiable product data across manufacturers, supply chains and regulatory environments.
And Shenzhen could be where this gets really interesting.
Orobo says its next step is to deepen local partnerships and move its China pipeline toward industrial pilots and commercial deployments.
Think about the connection:
🇨🇳 One of the world’s largest manufacturing ecosystems
🇪🇺 Digital Product Passports and growing product-data requirements
🌐 Orobo connecting product identity across markets
🔷 IOTA providing trust infrastructure underneath
If those connections turn into real industrial deployments, this could become a fascinating example of what real-world IOTA adoption actually looks like:
not users interacting with a blockchain, but companies using infrastructure built on it without needing to care what’s underneath.
Winning the competition is a great signal.
