Today I learned about `font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums;` Basically makes a text value act like monospace so when you’re scaling it up and down via a slider etc. it doesn’t jump around as much.

You're not evil for interrupting people, but you need to understand how much time it costs them: not just the few moments of interruption, but how long it takes to get back into deep, focused work again. Ideally, put one person on deep work and another on 'interrupt duty'.

Why is the cost of interruption ALWAYS about how much time the person who was interrupted has lost? What if I spent a who day twiddling my thumbs doing nothing because I was afraid of being called out as evil for interrupting someone? What's the cost then? Is it more or less?

Here's a fun (ahem) programming exercise for #codenewbie that I'll be doing over lunch. Take a folder structure (photos) that looks like this and combine them all into a "year-month" structure. Use any language. Is it harder or easier than you thought? Might be deceptive!
