After a year in the making, I'm excited to announce Code Hike 1.0! 🎉
Code Hike bridges the gap between Markdown and React to help you create technical content that takes advantage of the modern web
v1.0 introduces two new features:
- Fine-grained markdown
- Headless codeblocks
Codex usage (pro plan) dropped from 35% to 0% in less than 5 minutes, and I wasn't even using fast mode.
How can I debug what happened? @thsottiaux
playing with a new UI for this post (still a work in progress), would love some feedback on the reading experience

will keep updating it with more content
this was supposed to be an internal thing for my blog, but if the tweet hits 1000 likes I'll have no choice but to release it as a proper tool
MDX really shines now that it's so effortless to create little components to complement your prose
This post (from 7 years ago!) ended up being one of the most impactful things I've made.
I'm working on my next big one: Build your own GPT.
These posts take an obsessive amount of time, I'm funding it via GitHub Sponsors, if you want to chip in.
Had to build a new blog and some tools to be able to publish this post with the format I wanted. It took some time but it's finally ready!
