Does political texting work?
In 2026, that's a $750,000,000 question.
@xscreenmedia recently tested persuasion texting and came to many of the same conclusions we've found to be true over the past 8 years:
They texted 50,000 voters (low-turnout Republicans and high-turnout Persuadable voters), and measured against the control audience:
--"Ad recall in the test market increased by 22 points, a 16-point difference over the control market"
--Young voters (who are the hardest to reach with traditional channels) "were the most likely to recall the messaging"
--frequency matters! "people who had seen our ad six or more times viewed the issue positively, while the rest of the electorate viewed it very negatively"
--Voters who received texts dramatically changed their voting preference (see attached graphic)
===
So there you have it (again). Texting works (when done right).

I've been saying for months (years?) now that AI is being used to transform campaigns, but not in the way you'd think.
The most boring, mundane, frustrating tasks are now being done with AI. It means campaigns can do more with less.

The end of unregistered traffic has had a big impact on many of the political texting platforms but I'm thrilled to share that at @rumbleup we've been able to continue providing the fastest and most affordable solution in the marketplace, so much so that we processed more registrations last month than we did in October of 2024 as word gets around about our superior capabilities.
Our clients get access to our expert support team that works closely with clients to get them registered in as little as two business days, and our clients only pay the vetting and registration fees (typically $95 for the CV token and $30 for the initial TCR fees) and ongoing TCR subscription with no upcharges or hidden fees and no absurd long-term commitments.
We're seeing years of effort pay off for our clients, and I could not be more proud to see us deliver on our promise to provide the best texting experience and outcomes for our clients, beginning day one.
If you're struggling to get registered, get in touch and we'll help you get texting without the hassle, wait and added expense.

Mark is 💯 right: Broadcast TV and streaming can't reach all swing voters.
In Pennsylvania, for instance, Mark notes that 15% of swing voters watch *NO* broadcast TV *OR* streaming! And of those who do, 20% received 8 or fewer impressions, even with the campaigns spending massive amounts of money.
The good news is SMS can reach these remaining voters, and with @rumbleup's video-via-text technology, they can see the same creative as a campaign is showing on TV or streaming.
Texting is far more targeted and addressable than linear TV and delivers content far more evenly than streaming.
Ironically it's probably the relative low-cost of texting that precludes the largest campaigns from sending video-via-text as often as they should.
There's still time to fill the gap and reach the swing voters who will decide the election. #GOTV #TextOutTheVote

A simple reminder to everyone (including me): winning in November happens now, with every action we take. Try to spend at least as much time organizing to win as you spend watching the campaigns unfold on X.

Discussing texting for advocacy at #DMAS23, Nick Zwier Elliott (@P2PTexting) with @rumbleup noted that, "98% of people read their texts and 90% read them within 5 minutes. It's one of the most immediate ways to reach your stakeholders." But he cautions, don't use bitly links

GOP campaigns are closing so strong.
Yesterday @rumbleup clients set a new one-day record for voter contacts.
The previous high was set the Monday before the election in 2020.
No presidential race this year, and they still blew it away.
