What can you still send after the October cutoffs?
By now your inbox has its own folder of final-month reminders for voter outreach channels, and most of them end with an October deadline. The final week after those deadlines can't be spent twiddling your thumbs.
Three developments decide how that week goes:
📅 Meta's freeze window, the cutoffs that land before it, and a dated checklist
📊 An independent 50,000-voter test where video texts lifted ad recall 22 points
📱 iOS 27 blurring MMS images from unsaved numbers, plus five script fixes
Texting has no freeze and can still launch a new message on November 2, as long as your 10DLC registration clears first.

Our team came home from @NextAfter_ 's NIO Summit in Fort Worth calling it the best conference they have ever attended.
We sponsored the summit party and spent three days in the Stockyards with passionate nonprofit fundraisers and marketers that never stop innovating (our kind of crowd.)
Thanks to everyone who talked donor engagement and texting with our team, with a special shoutout to those who joined us at the afterparty and took home some of our custom BBQ Rub. 🤠
The week also gave us time in person with Jon Rydberg of Align Advisory Group, a close partner who helped shape how we nurture future customers. Align helps B2B founders and revenue leaders build the playbook, process, and team that turns pipeline into repeatable revenue.
See you at NIO Summit 2027! 🥊

Does political texting work?
In 2026, that's a $750,000,000 question.
@xscreenmedia recently tested persuasion texting and came to many of the same conclusions we've found to be true over the past 8 years:
They texted 50,000 voters (low-turnout Republicans and high-turnout Persuadable voters), and measured against the control audience:
--"Ad recall in the test market increased by 22 points, a 16-point difference over the control market"
--Young voters (who are the hardest to reach with traditional channels) "were the most likely to recall the messaging"
--frequency matters! "people who had seen our ad six or more times viewed the issue positively, while the rest of the electorate viewed it very negatively"
--Voters who received texts dramatically changed their voting preference (see attached graphic)
===
So there you have it (again). Texting works (when done right).
How do you get new donors in 2026? Start weeks before the ask to build relationships with donors.
We crafted a sure-fire texting sequence, with example messages you can adapt for the third-quarter close, Election Day and GivingTuesday initiatives:
→ Introduce
→ Inform
→ Invite a micro-action
→ Give access
→ Ask
→ Thank and report
Four value-giving texts for every ask. The Q3 sequence starts today.

A few snapshots from our team at the @StatePolicy Network Annual Meeting in Orlando last week! ♟️🐊
We were honored to sponsor this year’s Annual Meeting and connect with so many people across the state policy community. Between sessions and conversations, we stopped by the Chess Cabana, made plenty of new connections, and, of course, took a photo with an alligator who did not seem to mind the attention.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to connect with our team and grab some RumbleUp swag. We enjoyed being part of this year’s Annual Meeting and look forward to staying connected!
How should you structure an effective texting sequence?
It depends on your audience, your goal and your timeline.
We broke down 3, 4 and 5-text sequences for four common political use cases:
→ Consultants, Agencies & Political Software Platforms → Campaigns & Ballot Initiatives
→ Institutional Advocacy Organizations
→ Polling & Research Firms
Swipe through for the recommended timing, format and purpose of each message.

A great reminder that texting can be a powerful tool for building relationships with supporters.
This article is a great example of how the right texting strategy helped a down-ballot candidate build recognition and lasting support through consistent, conversational outreach, helping campaigns stay connected with supporters throughout the cycle.
For down-ballot candidates, familiarity can matter more than a massive media budget. Our latest piece looks at how early, conversational texting can build recognition, raise money and turn voter contact into lasting support.

Dr. Michael Martinez Scott was outspent 19 to 1. He won by 24 points.
With a $12,000 budget, no field team and a knee injury that ruled out door knocking, he built his outreach around P2P texting: segmented lists, real conversations and fast responses when the race called for it.

Many campaigns assume short codes are only for presidential races.
The reality? They benefit candidates at every level by helping them keep and grow the opt-in audience they have already built throughout their political career.
Watch Mary Kate Fish, our VP of Client Success, explain why. 👇

I've been saying for months (years?) now that AI is being used to transform campaigns, but not in the way you'd think.
The most boring, mundane, frustrating tasks are now being done with AI. It means campaigns can do more with less.
