$NAUT one hell of a cup-w-handle
MASSIVE vol on this stock today. And doesn't even have much short float.

Why $NAUT it's zero to one: biology can already read DNA cheaply ($ILMN) but still can't read proteins at scale, and proteins are what actually run the body and what nearly every drug targets.
Today's tools, mass spectrometry and antibody panels, miss most low abundance proteins and can't tell apart the many versions of the same protein (called proteoforms). Remember the word because it will be very important in the future. PROTEOFORMS.
Nautilus puts single protein molecules on a chip with billions of spots and reads each one through hundreds of cycles of probes. In theory that measures most of the proteome, and every proteoform, one molecule at a time. Nobody else does it this way, which is why it's a new capability rather than a better version of an existing one.
The generational part: Patel took Isilon from a garage to a $2.25B sale to EMC, and he's rebuilt that team plus Illumina/Solexa veterans around Mallick, an Aebersold trained protein scientist who has spent his whole career on this problem.
They have years of patents behind them, and insiders keep buying near the lows. If broadscale works, the company could matter as much for proteins as Illumina did for DNA, and from roughly a 260M market cap that would be a 50-100x+ outcome. That's the real bull case.
The product isn't on the market yet. Today it's a paid service for one assay (Tau).
The instrument (Voyager) opens for pre orders in early 2027 and ships around mid 2027.
The big, proteome wide assay which would be the holy grail of biotech is not ready its performance tests in Q2 and has no launch date at the moment so they turn their focus into a platform they can monitize today while they work on the impossible but I have very high confidence that they have the people to deliver.
They have never raised cash post IPO but they will eventully need to in 2027 to commercialize.
Cash: about $129M in total
Burn is around $27M every 6 months, so the runway is roughly 2+ years. The market value sits barely above cash, which is why it feels like a Series A price.
The things to watch are a new broadscale timeline, the AKT1 assay in late 2026, and how many Voyager pre-orders come in early 2027

i've tracked all the bio "gurus and experts" on X, they dont understand markets and generational companies.
I do.

yes, dont but any other biotech stock, there is no point.

Yes, giving shares, which are stakes in the future economy, directly to the people is the way

Everyone's asking why Rocket Lab didn't disclose the Neutron tank problem the day they found it…
Think through the timeline:
- The Stage 1 tank was supposed to be in qualification by late July / August
- The air voids in the composite show up during qual… likely August
- At that moment, nobody knows if it's a "scrap the design" problem or a "fix the process" problem
So what was the "honest" move in August? Announce: "We found a defect. We don't know if it's resolvable. We don't know what it does to the schedule."
That's not transparency. You can't price a maybe. It's handing shareholders an unquantifiable unknown and letting the market fill the vacuum with the worst case which is arguably MORE detrimental to shareholders than waiting to disclose.
What they did instead… finish the RCFA (root cause failure analysis), confirm there's a clear path forward and the design is workable, then disclose with the problem, cause, fix, and a revised timeline.
The fair criticism isn't the disclosure timing. It's that Q4 launch guidance stayed alive while the tank that made Q4 possible was still unproven. That's the real debate, and it's a legitimate one.
It's a tough place to be. Disclose early and you panic people over a problem you can't yet size. Disclose late and you're accused of hiding it.
Rocket Lab chose the version where investors got facts instead of fear. I'll take that trade.

🇺🇸 SpaceX is getting ready to attempt something absolutely INSANE: REFUELING TWO STARSHIPS IN ORBIT.
The company is targeting the first half of 2027, potentially as early as FEBRUARY, for its first orbital docking and refueling demonstration.
Two massive spacecraft will have to meet in space, dock, and transfer super-cold rocket propellant between them.
This is one of the BIGGEST technological hurdles standing between humanity and a return to the Moon, with enormous implications for future missions to Mars.
If SpaceX pulls this off, it could fundamentally change how humanity travels through space.

Think what you want about Elon's involvment in politics, one thing is clear: his companies are amongst the best in the world. Elon sets the culture in his companies and manages them according to the below principles:
1. Clear and ambitious vision, that connects all employees to a common goal. He also does a great job at selling it and getting people to buy in.
2. Applying first-principles thinking to all aspects of the business. This alone drives both internal and external innovation, and creates many little competitive advantages in and across his companies.
3. Ruthless iteration and speed. Learning, adapting, changing and improving processes, products, etc is constant. Speed is always prioritized.
4. Vertical integration. No surprise here. This ultimately brings down costs if done properly and allows his companies to better control their own destinies.
5. Strong capital management. Elon's companies always do and accomplish more with less. They also excel at driving down costs over time; this is related to points 3 and 4 above.
6. Talent. Elon's companies attract the best and brightest. This is because people want to work on things that matter, and they want to be challenged. No better place for both of these than at SpaceX or Tesla!
Surely I missed some stuff. What do you think?

로켓랩, 위성 제조에서 우주통신 인프라로
ROCKET LAB SPACE COMMUNICATIONS
Rocket Lab의 미래는 로켓 발사에만 있지 않습니다.
위성 부품, 완성 위성, 통신 인프라와 서비스까지 연결하는
사업구조에 주목합니다.
다만 실제 수익화는 검증이 필요합니다.
