how did you build? greybox first? procedural code? did you make the foilage using custom textures for leaves and tripo for the tree structure? curious! post about your workflow, I am building also with opus and unreal, documenting the full journey. will share also soon!

i was doing models without textures -> smart uv unwrap -> textures

is this different from the smart UV unwrap on tripo thats capped at 80k triangles?

what workflow or skills did you use? and would you say its as easy with unity or unreal? im very curious about how you approached it, did you just give the ideas without directing things like asset creation and what not first? if you did just simply give the ideas did you use any skills or pre defined assets? its really amazing man!

how do we use this though? do we ust load the skills we think are relevant? or is there an actual harness we can use whereby we just define what we need and the relevant skills get loaded?

wow! nice! im a big advocate of pencil! been using it for 4 months now, its amazing!
1 question, can we now interact with multiple editors at once? i had many pen files open and needed to pull different designs from each with parallel agents but it only works with the active editor, any tips?

for new engineers who want to learn game dev though, isnt an engine still better? once i understand how everything works then yes id build my engine why not, but to learn how build games, if thats your goal, then engines still win IMO.

also meshy ai is amazing for asset generation btw

why not use an engine and vibe code with the engine, and learn the engine in parallel? e.g unreal engine with Aura AI or an unreal mcp? i feel like we're reinventing the wheel here maybe? is there a reason for this? perhaps im missing the point

unreal engine is getting AI! im an advocate of that over reinventing the wheel. but this is reslly good stuff! im actually thinking of documenting my unreal journey with AI.
