My Christmas message:
"..the Lord said I was hungry and you told me to make a meal for 30p, I was thirsty and you filled my water with shit, I was a stranger and you sent me to Rwanda, I was sick and you asked whether I had health insurance..."

With respect, James, there are over 165k adult social care vacancies.
These vulnerable, lonely, cold, soiled, hungry, frightened human beings could be you. Your mum or dad. Any of us.
You’re making it less likely they’ll get the care they need.
Common sense, or abject cruelty?
The 0801 Hexham to Carlisle is now late @northernassist. I was here early enough for the 0744 (also running late), but couldn’t get that as I have an advanced ticket. The 0744 was less than a quarter full. The car is so much easier.

This needs a detailed post-mortem:
1. why was a train cancelled at Preston without letting the train crew know first?
2. Did it really have to be? Finding buses at that kind of notice is impossible.
3. The Preston cab licensing authority needs to look at this, urgently.

As I was going to South Mimms
I met a man with seven bins
Each bin had seven sacks
Each sack had seven twats
Each twat sold seven lies
Lies about bins and twats in a sack
This is the story of Rishi Sunak.

Replying to @katebevan @Frances_Coppola
And when he had opened the fourth bin, I heard the voice of the fourth recycling category say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was mixed glass and cardboard. – at Newton-le-Willows, England
I’m waiting for blood test results in a broken NHS. Would Mr Farage like to take up my case? He seems to be the only person anyone is listening to.

Much admiration and gratitude to the Anglican bishops in the Lords who have worked *tirelessly* to oppose the re-introduction of the detention of children in new and grotesque and impractical asylum bill. @BishopPaulB @BishManchester amongst them 🙏🙏
Bloods taken four hours ago @ChristieHosp. No results yet, so chemo is delayed again. Just so tired of the state of our NHS.
I have been on 7 trains today. My ticket was checked on 3 of them. Why do I bother to buy a ticket? @EastMidRailway No worries. Now we’ll close the ticket offices. No one will pay to travel.
I see that a fresco has been found in Pompeii showing a pizza. We now expect @VindolandaTrust to find something depicting a Gregg’s sausage roll.
Surely the King and his family would have huge support if they simply refused to knight those who organised parties the night before Prince Philip’s funeral. And publicly said so.
Can you imagine the fuss if I had claimed a traffic fine back on my church expenses? But it’s ok for the Derby North MP.
Have @EastMidRailway given up on ticket checks? Caught 1741 Duffield to Matlock and back. Saw guard as she changed ends at Matlock, but otherwise she has stayed in the cab in both directions. If @RMTunion want guards on trains - and I do - they have to be visible.

A small basket of food at the coop cost me £30. And no carrots on sale at all. We are so much better off!

Today many arrested by @metpoliceuk for a peaceful protest
BUT a year after @NCA_UK raided Michelle Mone's homes relating to £212m PPE fraud, nothing has happened
The King swore today to "cause law, justice & mercy to be executed in his judgment."
