Professor @DPrentissBarry dismantles the spurious Greek argument heard on the floor advocating for women's ordination at #PCAGA.
While proponents of women deacons might want the Greek to support them, it's just not probable.
Check out the new content on the @J3PCA website.
Confidence is no substitute for exegesis. A merely possible reading of Rom 16:1 cannot bear the weight of overturning the church’s historic doctrine of male-only ordination. @GPTSeminary Professor David Barry dismantles the grammatical sleight of hand.

What the NAPARC Church Orders Say the Deacon Is
reformeddeacon.com/blog/the-…
"The diaconate is far more than writing checks or ensuring heat in a cold church building. Deacons have a... high calling to be examples and leaders of unity by ministering the grace of our Savior to the congregation through... deeds and... words."

Tomorrow morning we install new deacons at Church Creek PCA in #charlestonsc. Faithful deacons are essential to the life and service of the church; they care for the needy, allay potential division, and free up ministers of the word to fully carry out their calling (Acts 6:1–7).

What is Deacon?
The word is used in various ways throughout history and even in the Scripture, but the PCA BCO makes it clear what a deacon is in the #PCAGA.
