When we filmed the @rebelsproject support group for mass shooting survivors, its co-founder told us that her path to healing from the trauma of the Columbine shooting has been long and winding. "I really started my journey at ten years. Ten years after the event."
In 2019, we reported from #Parkland one year after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting. We learned that the trauma of mass shootings lives on long past the event.

Proud of the work that @HeathLyMartin and @rebelsproject are doing to support mass shooting survivors. Truth be told, having her as a friend helped me tremendously as I navigated my own “new normal” after #Parkland. If you’re looking for a cause to support, consider this one. 💙 – at New York, USA
