Bittensor recently released Null Consensus, a major protocol update expanding subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants.
It introduces a new way to determine miner rewards, giving subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus.

Subnet 120 launched its flagship "Affine-1" model. A 36B-parameter model (3B active) that is SOTA for its size, beating Qwen3.6 35B.
A 35B-parameter model, trained in a decentralized fashion using Subnet 120, matching Opus 4.1 (frontier ~2 years ago). Absolutely mind-blowing.
