idk man a few years ago i thought this too but ppl have been doxxed and have scamming in broad daylight for literally 5yrs+ and nothing happens to them. in fact, they're some of the most popular people in the space. law enforcement is too slow to act, most jurisdictions can't keep up & if you read zachxbt posts you're aware that many jurisdictions don't care/don't have the ability to properly do anything about it in the first place. vigilantes only cause short-term disruption to calling out these sorts of scammers iwo - scammers replace their audience faster than people learn they're scammers like sure you can point to richard heart and say "it eventually catches up" and it's good they got him but there are literally thousands of scammers on chain right now hitting licks daily. even if it takes 5-6yrs or whatever to catch up to people if they happen to be in a jurisdiction that is empowered enough to do anything, the damage they cause in the window before it catches up to them is detrimental and i fear it has become so normalised and so widespread many get away with it given all of the above a lot of people think the r/r to being a scammer is there
