i might be stupid but if my SSD can store 4TB of data, why can't i use part of it as extra RAM when i run out? i know it's slower, but what exactly stops us from making this seamless?

Strongly grasped bad take here.
In case you forget, C++ is the first Object Oriented Programming Language. Anything you see in other "modern" languages is borrowed (or partly borrowed) from there. Why hating it?

Mexican Spanish words of Nahuatl origin

Revolutionary thought: spare tires.
Why have I bought into the Muskonomy? This is why. At 9pm on a Friday night I got in my wife’s car to pick up her Target order. I made it one house down before the car started throwing flat tire warnings. I pulled over and sure enough. It was flat. I very slowly drove it right back into our driveway, hopped out, and filed a claim through the Tesla app with my Tesla insurance. Within minutes a tow truck was dispatched to pick the car up and take it to the nearest Tesla service center. Since they’re open Saturday’s, the car will be ready for pickup tomorrow with a repaired or new tire. On any other car this would be a nightmare. Trying to find a tire shop over Saturday and Sunday, make sure my tire is in stock, pay a towing company to come get it… it would consume the weekend. Not with my @tesla though. A few taps of the screen and all I have to do it pick it up at the end. Wow.

A) white B) this assumes you have a cabin in the north pole, which is stupid C) nobody hunts polar bears on foot D) companies that use ancient riddles in hiring processes are never a good place to work at
How would you answer this common Blackstone interview question?

The idea that the solution for being stuck in the mud is to ALWAYS carry a 2 cubic meter compressed air tank that can explode with the power of 2 kilos of TnT and will drop your 2000 kilo car 10 feet away is so awesome.
This is showing how many people don't have the ability to conceptualize how extraordinary feats make real life better. Ever been stuck in the mud or snow? Ever seen a car crash with a car rolling or flipping end over end? Yes it has serious practical implications for real life.

Idiots. Those jets are lethal in a 10 feet radius, destroy hearing farther out, the acceleration would require a racing car harness, and you need to LAND somewhere, since you just turned a 2000Kg car ballistic.
Jumping the Tesla lineup is an awesome "flex" demo of the Roadster's rocket thrusters, but the real value is as a safety feature. Imagine a world where your car has the ability to jump out of the way to avoid an imminent collision. If they can offer this functionality for any remotely close to an affordable price, accidents may essentially become a thing of the past.

See? idiots.
I believe most people underestimate technology like this because they have non-creative minds. @Tesla doesn’t seem like real life at first because… First-order thinking: "We don't need rockets on a car." Second-order thinking: boost out of a crash before it happens. Multi-level highways without building onramps, boost to lvl 2/3/4. Park outside your window in an apartment block. Literally even just rocket jet some loser trying kidnap your family members. So many use cases it's insane. We live in the greatest timeline to experience tech like this. What's the first thing you'd use it for?

🔵 Virgen extra ↓
