Anecdotally, I didn't believe @elonmusk's claim about a decline in hate speech on this platform, so I ran a large-scale data analysis.
As this graph shows, there is no evidence of a decline in tweets containing hate speech terms* over the past fortnight.

Congrats to @Cenevox for winning the #QUTResearchInFocus @qutdmrc category for best media and communication visualisation. The team reviewed more than 500 aged-care-related news stories and identified several trends in how journalists tend to cover ageing and older people.
