Why do Indians lack civic sense? Look at the way the guy is arguing that there should have been instructions about not littering.
Disgrace.

Would be grateful for a RT. My daughter was not a celebrity, she was just a normal individual who unfortunately died from a brain cancer. I'm trying to raise awareness of glioblastoma, a grade 4 tumour that took her at the age of 19 yrs 5 days.
With thanks (Charlotte's mother)

Desk jobs, 10-minute delivery apps, smart phones, poor footpath conditions have resulted in Urban Indians walk very less!
According to studies, Indians walk only 4300 steps a day, which is 39 out of 46 countries surveyed.
Today, I'm excited to launch the first ever "Indian Steps Premier League" with the ambition to make India start walking again!
Indian Steps Premier League helps you compete with your friends, family, office colleagues and people from other states on how many steps we take every month!
There will be 36 teams (28 states & 8 union territories) and each person will be joining 1 of these 36 teams.
Tracking steps alone is boring, but competing with friends, family and strangers makes fitness fun!
Everyone is invited to join the first edition of Indian Steps Premier League! To join the league, you have to join a Food Pharmer state group on the Fittr app.
I encourage you to invite your friends, family, office colleagues and make India start walking again!

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal backs Narayana Murthy's 70-hour work week advice: Do you agree?
What do the scientific studies show?
➡️Working 55 or more hours per week is associated with a 35% higher risk of a stroke and a 17% higher risk of dying from ischemic heart disease, compared to working 35-40 hours a week.
➡️More than 800,000 people die every year due to working for more than 55 hours a week.
➡️Long working hours are associated with a higher risk of being overweight, prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
➡️People working 69 or more hours a week are more likely to have moderate to severe depressive symptoms than those working 40 hours a week.
So, it is clear that working long hours is associated with increased risk of multiple serious diseases and even premature death.
CEOs are inclined to recommend long working hours for their employees to improve their company's profits and their own net worth. If employees fall sick, they can be "easily substituted".
So, it is in your best interest to choose an organization that cares for employees and recommends reasonable working hours- to ensure a better work-life balance.

As the summer peaks in the Land of the Nawabs, the city of Lucknow comes alive with the celebration of Bada Mangal. This unique festival, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, showcases the rich Ganga-Jamuni culture—a harmonious blend of diverse beliefs in the heart of Uttar Pradesh.
The origins of Bada Mangal are rooted in the history of Awadh. It is said that Begum Alia, moved by a divine vision, ordered the construction of a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This act of devotion led to the beginning of a tradition that has been celebrated for centuries.
Every year, on all four Tuesdays of the month of Jyestha, devotees from all walks of life come together to celebrate Bada Mangal. Despite the soaring temperatures, people throng to Hanuman temples, offering prayers and seeking blessings.
One of the most beautiful aspects of Bada Mangal is the Bhandara stalls spread across Lucknow, where devotees serve freshly cooked food and refreshing drinks to everyone, symbolizing selfless service and communal harmony.
This festival is a shining example of the Ganga-Jamuni culture, where people from different communities come together in a spirit of unity and mutual respect.
What is your favorite memory of celebrating Bada Mangal? Let us know in the comments below!

This male sumatran orangutan is Raku: he got a wound on his right cheek. Scientists were surprised to spot him applying a medicinal plant on his face: akar kuning (Fibranaurea tinctoria), a type of climbing vine that acts as an analgesic.
After about 8 days he applied the chewed stems and leaves of the plant, the wound began to heal and in approximately a month he completely recovered.
This series of observations undoubtedly constitutes the conclusive proof of the level of ingenuity that these majestic animals have.

For many years, Bill Gates used to fly Economy, not because he couldn’t afford First Class, but because he didn’t consider it good value. It’s five or six times more expensive, but only marginally better (and you all get to your destination at the same time).
In the same vein, I could afford a really nice car at this point, but I’ve never been a car guy, and I don’t need a Lamborghini or a Mazerati (which I can’t even spell). A Volvo station wagon does the job just fine, and I wouldn’t value the difference. I don’t need to drop $1000 on a bottle of wine at dinner either, since I know I’ll get the same enjoyment from a $35 bottle.
So what is wealth good for, in the end? Besides providing security, it also gives flexibility. After all of the experiences I’ve had, the most important thing I’ve learned about money is that, once you have enough (by the previous definition), you can choose to have less of it in exchange for choosing how to spend your time. And spending your time doing something meaningful to you…that’s worth way more than a Mazerati.
