I follow my wife and child around closing doors and turning out lights. Other than that, I'm barely productive.

(Some) Red states are net beneficiaries of federal taxes *only* because they have more retirees and more military infrastructure and therefore get more tax money for Social Security, Medicare, and military bases. This is the dumbest liberal talking point.
Growing up is realizing that the “liberal hellhole” of California pays for all the red states.

Where do I go for the best online, freelance gigs? (Writing, editing, etc.) I have way too much free time, and my BoD wouldn't care if I double dipped and had a side gig. As long as it's something that I can pause and take a phone call or otherwise handle business. I just don't want to mess around with junk jobs - I've got a resume that belies my current position. 😅

Sure, Iran is causing issues with petroleum, but this is the crack spread of diesel - the difference between a barrel of crude and a barrel of diesel. That's the margin refiners are making ... and it's absolutely insane gouging right now.

We forget to close our garage door and lock our front door … way too often. Every time I cringe and worry. Every time, nothing happens. But on this app I see things from people in cities who must live their lives on the fragile edge of fear. Not worth it.

1. I’m a list maker. 2. This might be the point where I realized I’ve gotten bourgeois.

I’m pretty good at roasting chickens. Might do this every Sunday night like Ricky Bobby and his family going to Applebees.

Captain America was always the right one. He’d hate Flock cameras. Insufferable sometimes, but he was right.

This looks like he stuck his head out the window of a Bugatti on the Autobahn.

“It’s hard for people to move,” as an argument against federalism. Meanwhile, in reality…
Six states have seen their working-age populations decline even faster than Japan’s 4.9% drop over the past decade.

If you want a reason to get your hopes up about @JordanSpieth, (let's be honest, we don't ever need a *reason*) ... at the Wyndham, he birdied the par 5s 7 out of 8 times, and parred the 8th. That's huge if he can eliminate the occassional haywire holes...

I hope every family has as much family lore as the Wagners. About 40% of our best conversations are movie quotes and references, 40% are inside jokes and family lore references, and 20% is normal world stuff.

A number of studies have found that tossing and swinging young kids helps develop their inner ear (vestibular sense) and leads to better balance and coordination later on in life. It's instinctual for men to toss their kids in the air!
Why do fathers love throwing their babies in the air? They can’t be stopped. You turn your back and they’ve launched another one. Please explain.

I just realized we haven’t had a good rebellious teenager movie in probably 30 years. That might be what is wrong with Millenials and Gen Z. (Just watched “Dirty Dancing.)
