Have to say the podcasts between @RichardGillis1 and @patrick_nally have been just about the best I have ever come across on sports biz. Incredible insight into FIFA and IOC at the highest levels...

Brilliant to chat to @patrick_nally earlier. Patrick was involved in reviving the Intercontinental Cup, taking it to Japan in 1980 with the involvement of @ToyotaMotorCorp. Some excellent insight that will be included in the book 👌

Hey @patrick_nally your efforts to continue with the Nations Cup for IFMP (International Federation of Match Poker) as virtual, and across time zones is impressive. And I thought organizing our remote teaching was a schedule challenge! Mind sport indeed.

Some felt that I was too close to the sports media, and made comments just to get attention. In all honesty, some truth in that, but they are also great people who care about sports and the welfare of athletes. Right @EHula_ATR and @Duncan_ITG & @RachelAxon & @Bachscore?

Never in doubt in my humble opinion as a Junior Account Exec at West Nally @patrick_nally – at Cookham Dean, South East
Having seen the recent comments about the TOP programme and who created it, I thought a gentle reminder of David Owens piece reaffirms that it was a West Nally creation back in 1976. Michael please note. insidethegames.biz/articles/…

The meeting between @realDonaldTrump and #ThomasBach is going to be one of those that enter Olympic myth....The only time I can remember where no details - not even a picture - were released afterwards. Wonder if Bach has a picture of it on his wall at the Lausanne Palace Hotel?
This meeting makes the radio silence following #IOC President Thomas Bach's visit to the White House to meet Trump last year even more interesting. Was not publicised and there were no pictures/quotes or comment from @iocmedia or @WhiteHouse afterwards
