And people are whining that a list of principled candidates in #vanpoli signed the Vote Palestine pledge? In an ongoing genocide? I'd prefer to see a list of everyone who didn't sign, so I know who not to vote for.
Israeli occupation forces are tightening their grip on more areas of Gaza despite the US-mediated ceasefire, issuing fresh evacuation orders that threaten to uproot Palestinians already forced from their homes by the war. Nearly two-thirds of the Strip now falls beyond the so-called “yellow line,” drawn under US President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace proposal. Al Jazeera's Ibrahim Al-Khalili reports from Gaza City, where Israel’s expanding military presence is fueling fears of further displacement.

Absolutely diabolical. National Post puts a bullseye on Avi Lewis through the rabid ramblings of Yoni Goldstein who invokes Halakhah and Leviticus on how to deal with Jews. Writing Lewis “presents a clear and present danger to the Jewish community” & other Jews are “duty-bound to step in.” This is so irresponsible. The National Post should be stripped of any government funding it receives from Canada. This is wholly negligent and irresponsible.

You know who was pretty quiet today regarding the masked white supremacists mobilizing in Kamloops with residential school denialism on the eve of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation? @PierrePoilievre. Here he is posing with the group's founder.

Seeing actor Josh Hartnett back on screen made me wonder what he’d been doing all these years. Then I came across his comments about Palestine from 2001 (peak Hartnett era) and was surprised by how outspoken he was. I wonder if he was cancelled.

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

A far-right party in Canada is imploding over a 22-year-old staffer’s extreme posting online. I got my hands on audio from @antihateca that might leave Canadians asking how the hell someone like this got into politics at all. It involves Diagolon, "remigration" and some trojan-horse-style plots:

Are kids going to trick-or-treat in this rain? (Also I cannot *believe* that major league baseball would do something as rude as a key game smack at trick-or-treat time. Way to wreck Hallowe'en for kids!) Anyway, I'll be doing #TreatCount2025 See next tweet for how to report
