Pretty telling that the response of OneBC to masked white supremacists marching and spreading residential school denialism in Kamloops yesterday was to take issue with....the masks. This is, indeed, a mask off moment.

A far-right, white supremacist group, in masks, did a banner drop today in Kamloops, BC today asking “Got Bones?” ahead of Orange Shirt Day/National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Truly abhorrent, dangerous stuff.
And, far-right media, some mainstream media, the Conservative Party of Canada, and provincially the BC Conservatives, OneBC, etc have actively fomented, created space for, and profited from all of this. They should be held to account, as well as these fascist goofs.

The apparent white nationalist gathering on Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc land and then in Kamloops this morning was hateful and meant to intimidate. It has no place in British Columbia, and BC Conservatives condemn it completely. We stand with the people of Tk'emlúps and Kamloops. We expect the RCMP to investigate fully
For the past 18 months, opposition parties in BC such as OneBC and the BC Conservatives have actively fomented this kind of residential school denialism and anti-Indigenous racism, creating space for it to grow as a politically useful rhetoric. This statement is disingenuous.
