El Niño is leaving its fingerprint on the ocean—and ISRO’s satellite is watching! ISRO’s EOS-06 (Oceansat-3) is detecting a reduction in ocean Chlorophyll-a for the month of June 2026, indicating changes in tiny marine plants (phytoplankton), along with a shift in surface winds.
