Iāve been in multiple situations where you invite an artisan to examine work to be done and give you quotes. Most times, itās obvious that these quotes or prices are outrageous, but because of stress, one ignores it and just pays. However, on days when I have the energy for the stress, I vet them on Jiji. So I thought of a simple way to make this easy and accessible to everyone: vet.pipeops.app. All you have to do is head to this link, upload or paste the quote, and we will give a breakdown report of what the market price says instead, highlighting items that can truly be negotiated or if youāre just being completely ripped off.

If your organisation needs to run applications on infrastructure it already owns, whether across on-premise servers, Proxmox clusters, workstations, or other internal compute resources, PipeOps BYOS (Bring Your Own Server) allows those systems to be brought under centralised control.
PipeOps is a secure infrastructure control plane that enables organizations to deploy and govern workloads across private infrastructure, on-premise environments, and cloud platforms.
Many enterprises operate in environments where infrastructure cannot simply be exposed to the public internet. Networks are restricted, access is tightly controlled, and governance requirements dictate how infrastructure and data must be managed.
PipeOps BYOS is designed for these environments.
Instead of requiring inbound access or weakening your network security posture, machines connect to PipeOps using secure outbound, zero-trust connectivity. This allows private infrastructure to become managed deployment targets without exposing systems to the public internet.
Once connected, each machine becomes a trusted deployment target inside your PipeOps environment.
PipeOps automatically prepares and manages the runtime, enabling platform teams to deploy applications while maintaining full control over the underlying infrastructure.
Your Organizations retain full ownership of:
Infrastructure
Data
Security policies
Operational governance
PipeOps simply provides the secure control plane that orchestrates it.
From a single interface, platform teams can manage and deploy workloads across private networks, enterprise environments, and cloud infrastructure, while maintaining strict control over connectivity, access, and data residency.
Turn any machine into a secure, enterprise-governed deployment target and run workloads wherever your infrastructure lives.
If you want to self-host your projects on a mini PC, an old workstation, or unused servers in your office, even inside restricted enterprise networks, @pipeopshq BYOS (Bring Your Own Server) is built for that.
Instead of manually bootstrapping infrastructure, BYOS automatically prepares and manages the server for you. The machine connects securely and becomes a ready deployment target.
You keep full ownership of your infrastructure while PipeOps handles the heavy lifting of environment setup and lifecycle management, so you can focus on reliably shipping and running your projects.
Turn any machine into a server. Deploy your projects in minutes. Guess you have no excuse not to launch that side project this year.
Last year, a key issue for us was the lack of a single place to view the changelogs across services on PipeOps. So over the weekend, I decided to vibe code this myself. You can check it out on GitHub. Itās designed with simplicity speed and privacy in mind. We believe your infrastructure data should stay yours.

Needed a free alternative to Sentry, so I vibe-coded one, github.com/PipeOpsHQ/pulse. You can deploy it with one click on PipeOps.

Database Studio is now live on @pipeopshq .
This lets you interact with your databasesĀ directly inside the PipeOps dashboard, browse tables, run queries, and inspect data without jumping to an external DB client or doing SSH / port-forwarding dance.
Itās meant to keep things simple:
Everything stays in one place (apps + infra + data)
Faster checks when debugging or validating changes
Less tooling, less context switching
If youāre already using PipeOps, this is one of those features youāll quietly start relying on.
A couple of things worth noting (by design):
TheĀ types of queries you can run are intentionally limitedĀ to protect end users and production data.
ThereāsĀ rate limiting in place, so if you lean on it heavily you might hit limits.
ItāsĀ not meant to replace connecting to your DB directlyĀ think of it as a quick inspection and debugging tool, not a full database IDE.

Manage your databases directly from the PipeOps console.
Run complex SQL queries & joins, optimise indexes, and monitor query performance without third-party tools or local setups.
Deploy PostgreSQL, MySQL, and more in just a few clicks, then operate everything in one place.

Rexec is now Open Source!
A secure remote execution terminal you can embed in your apps.

We built Rexec: Terminal-as-a-Service for disposable dev environments + remote agent terminals. rexec.sh
Itās great for AI-assisted workflows: generate code with an LLM, then run it + tests in an isolated terminal before it touches your machine.
Do you have any need to run @opencode on the web? You can now deploy it as an add-on on @pipeopshq .
PS: I am rich on pipeops š
Feels good to detect abnormal activity at run time. Had to deal with this after receiving a mining notification on GCP for some customers' workloads. Would write about this next, after publishing how I built rexex, and maybe open-source it.
This demo video demonstrates rexec, showing how to create your first terminal and what you can do with it. rexec.sh
