First we went to the @ORFC talk on the role farmers can play in slowing the flow, then we lived the experience of what life is like when it doesn't happen. Hurrah for the hardy @Riverford field team, rental car rescued.

Cry. Cry the cry. Cry on regular as needed. Just as our hearts lightens through crying, our collective grief and injury is witnessed and lightens to move with it.
When we cry, we affirm something’s worth. This here matters. It is dignifying

It's really sobering to get closer to net zero policy. It's so clear we're not being *remotely* radical enough. e.g. 30,000 annual heat pump installations when the govt wants 600,000. We're nowhere near. The problem isn't just the policies, it's the methods we're using. 🧵

Agree with urgency, but observing that the process of acquiring political/financial power tends to bend values away from addressing that urgency.
So acting NOW, in small bits and A LOT is one way to defeat that.
Why not co-opt tech-style ‘scale’ approaches for collective action?
