We've developed an atmospheric system, trying to simulate storm clouds and lightning as realistically as possible.
This video only shows a small part of it, but I actually managed to simulate a full-blown realistic storm. It's insane!
The only downside? The GPU takes a bit of a beating. This section is running at 90~120 FPS on an RTX 4070 Ti. For older hardware, there's an option to disable the effect.
I'm still deciding whether to include it in tomorrow's update... We'll see!
Btw, If you don't recognize this song, you need to watch more horror movies!
A massive update is coming this week!
We're improving Project Legion across the board: gameplay, multiplayer, visuals, UI, performance, and much more.
We're committed to making the game better than ever.
And this is just the beginning!

This Halloween, a completely revamped version of Project Legion is coming.
We've completely rebuilt the networking system, and we're taking the game in a much more action-packed direction.
Before the end of the year, enemy AI is getting an absolutely brutal overhaul.
And when I say brutal... I mean REALLY fucking brutal.
It's been a while since I last posted. I'm working on a module that will bring more life to our companions.
This is Bartolo, the Merchant.
He's a traveling trader who lets you exchange Tributes for Blood.
Since Blood in The Broken King is your weapon, your health, and your currency, Bartolo can become pretty important during a run.
But he won't always stay in the same place. If you don't buy anything, he may pack up and move somewhere else.

This is one of our Hard Rooms.
The red lighting is basically the game telling you: you probably shouldn’t be here.

A standard gaming PC should be enough to run any game.
When we made Project Nightmares, it could run on a PC that was already almost 20 years old. Even today, the game has aged surprisingly well.
It still amazes us how many developers nowadays seem to care so little about performance and optimization.
