There are _so_ many reasons to use deno, but lint and fmt with zero config is reason enough.

If you want external import-map support (eg an import map that can be referenced by a script src tag) then please give the first comment in this issue a thumbs up! Otherwise it’s going to be removed from the spec :( github.com/WICG/import-maps/…

I'm excited to be doing an overview of the Design System Maturity Model 2 more times this year! It's just an hour-and-a-half out of your day, but I believe it will reframe how you think about the #designsystem work that's necessary for healthy maturity. eventbrite.com/e/unconferenc…

So I don't know if anyone has noticed, but deno lint is crazy fast. 50 files take 2.44 MILLISECONDS to format. (for reference, eslint takes 2282.93 ms for the same files with the same rules). That is a 3 orders of magnitude improvement 🤯 → deno.land/manual/tools/linte… ←

Thank you to @hearsparkbox for building apprentice.at/ to highlight design and development apprenticeships across the US. We have been proud to offer apprenticeships at thoughtbot since 2011, and we are glad to see so many other companies investing in them as well.

Holy cow. I just realized that if you download a project from @codesandbox, it has a package.json with deps and scripts ready to go. Just npm i && npm start. That's a super handy feature. A+
