I’ve long relied on CDC wastewater data to track COVID community spread and guide my precautions accordingly. For the past year, I used a simple iOS/macOS widget I wrote to help keep tabs. If you might find it useful, I finally shared it on the App Store: apple.co/4glESi8

Favorite shell alias for #golang dev on Apple Silicon chips: alias bgtest='GOMAXPROCS=`sysctl -n hw.perflevel1.logicalcpu` taskpolicy -b go test' Runs tests on efficiency cores only, perfect for fuzz testing ("bgtest -fuzz FuzzFoo") in background without affecting normal work.

Only thing I want in @SlackHQ is to be able to casually type/insert a time inside a message in my local time, have it recognized/parsed/markedup, and automatically displayed in the local timezone for all recipients.

Accurate sprint check-in.

Big proponent of "slow recruiting" (building up authentic relationships over time) ever since @chaddickerson had carpool convos about it way back in the day. It's a worthy investment. Yesterday I got to hire someone amazing who I've been "recruiting" for the past 11 years.

“My work seeks to interrogate the parameters by which we define and demarcate physical space, exploring the fertile liminal zone between the falsely binary notions of ‘indoors’ and ‘outdoors’ we too often take for granted.” mcsweeneys.net/articles/i-am… – at Brooklyn, NY
