I'm putting it as nice as possible given the insane amount of bias I am dealing with here. Its the same amount of times Michigan would have beaten villanova in 2018, which isn't zero

And if they would play multiple times, Arizona would have kept some of them close even with the amazing Yaxil healthy. Think a little bit here guys

Somebody was saying it, that's why ive been going off on this rant all day 馃槃. The Yax injury would have been a bigger deal if McKinney didn't go off like he did. Burries/bradley got outplayed badly. Would have liked to see Zona play more to their ability than what they showd

I'm not going to continue this when anyone with half a brain knows that Michigan wouldn't have beaten them 10 out of 10 times. Might be able to argue 8 but come on now this isn't the dream team and Arizona isn't Angola in 1992

Better coaching, better nutritional services, better weight room, more personalized training regimens. Many other factors. If it was as cut and dry as you make it, I'm sure Lebron would have tried to push him in another direction(and probably would have done so successfully)

The point you are missing is that Arizona was heavily dependent of Bradley and Krivas, and having both in foul trouble against the best team in the country gave them no shot to win. A 2 point spread indicates these teams were closer than you think but your bias is showing

He would be a worse basketball player at this moment in time if he did that. Game speed, intensity, etc is all there at practice and he's pushed further going this route. Plenty of dudes jumping around the portal from program to program, not developing. All theoretical though!

First off, Arizona is not my team. Krivas is one of my favorite players, nothing more, that's what got me into this mess of a thread. But I'll just leave it at this, vegas does not set 2 point lines on games that are so mismatched like what is being stated here.

There's a difference between not doing it and not being able to do it. Burries was off big time in that game and Bradley was in foul trouble. Both are solid shooters, if they weren't they wouldn't have been drafted as high as they did.

Burries and Krivas, Peat first rd talent, Bradley 2nd rd. Owaka fringe nba/g league player. Karshenkov will be a top 15 pick this year (likely top 10). Big talent gap, actually. When everyone you practice against is over 200lbs and better it forces you to change

Go Practice against 5 nba players all year and I guarantee you will be better than practicing against cleveland state players plus 30 games

If he was a little better I would agree that the playing time would help more, but his skills were really far behind that of any impactful d-1 player.

Dumb fouls. Go watch the game again. Arizona did not show up to play until they were down like 14-2, and that's when the stupid fouls started happening. Not bad officiating, just Arizona deciding to play the worst game of their season that day.

So Wisconsin beat them once and then lost by 3, but Arizona, given 10 chances would lose every one? Are we serious here?

I would argue that he got much better practicing at Arizona than playing at a mid-major. Going against some of the best players in the country everyday in practice trumps missing out on 30 actual lower level D-1 games. Still a work in progress though

Something tells me Dermar Derozan would not fair well in your analytical models

It is dumb when you have 7 potential nba players going against 7 potential nba players. There will be games where the team plays off, that's how basketball works. That's why Michigan didn't win every single game last year.

Do you know how dumb that sounds? Vegas literally had it at a 2 point spread. Dumb fouls by Krivas and Bradley were much more important to the outcome than Yaxel leaving(Mckinny stepped up). Michigan wins 7 out of 10. IMO.

Pulling up one box score is silly. Arizona played a horrific game, one in which their two best players got in foul trouble and the rest of the guys couldn't shoot. Krivas is a high level big and if you go back and watch that game he was effective when he actually got the ball.
