It's no secret that Caitlin Clark is not liked or respected by WNBA players. But I think the main reason Caitlin Clark is hated is because of her massive fanbase.
WNBA players wanted the benefits of being elevated into the mainstream...but they didnt want the consequences. The criticism...the scrutiny. The constant jokes of the incredibly bad basketball in this league. The questions when players on the same team are dating each other. WNBA players want to pick and choose their audience...and the media that covers the league.
The WNBA was blessed with a generational star...before they were ready to be a mainstream product. And the reality is...the WNBA may never be ready for primetime
Absolutely makes “No Sense “ that @Caitlinclark22 is targeted in such a negative manner by many of her peers . She should be treated like ROYALTY for what she has done for the @WNBA ! #@ESPNPR nypost.com/2026/07/07/opinio…

Why pick Darius Acuff Jr.?
— Created 38.7 PPG (most since Ja Morant)
— 1 of 3 major conf players w/23 PPG & 6 APG in last 40 years (Gary Payton & Trae Young)
— Highest three-point pct for an SEC freshman in 21 years
And... Best ast/to ratio by a 20-PPG scorer in last 50 years

.@Hedera is quietly becoming the backbone of the next financial revolution. While the market speculates, $HBAR is executing:
✅ BlackRock Money Market Funds tokenized on-chain (via Archax).
✅ ETF Filings @CanaryFunds signaling Wall St. demand.
✅ Trusted Infrastructure used by major enterprises, not just degens.
This cycle isn't about hype; it’s about Real World Assets (RWA). When trillions migrate to the blockchain, they are choosing security, compliance, and finality.

It is not often I read something that blows my mind, but this did. 🤯
I would highly recommend taking the 5 minutes to read it, and then an additional 5 minutes to pause and reflect to consider all the ways our world is about to radically change.

What we’re seeing here is what happens when markets get cleared out and then snap back hard once the selling pressure is gone. Friday’s $19.5 billion liquidation flushed out most of the leveraged longs, wiped out open interest, and left the order books paper thin. When the headlines shifted from panic to calm over the weekend, there was no one left to sell, so even a modest wave of dip buying sent prices ripping higher. It’s the classic post liquidation vacuum where shorts rush to cover, funding rates swing from negative back toward neutral, and market makers hedging their short call positions start buying to stay balanced. In crypto, especially on a Sunday with light liquidity that feedback loop looks explosive on the chart.
There’s also a macro layer feeding it. Yields eased a bit and the dollar stopped rising, which gives risk assets breathing room. Ethereum benefits more than most because it sits right at the intersection of liquidity and tech beta, it’s where investors go when they want exposure to risk sentiment turning up. After the crash, funding rates and futures spreads reset, making it safer for funds to rebuild positions. As that happens, options dealers who sold upside calls have to buy spot or futures to keep their hedges in line, which adds more fuel to the move.
So today’s +10–20 % jump is about mechanics and psychology. The market over liquidated, reset its leverage, and found no resistance on the way back up. If yields and the dollar stay quiet, the rebound can keep running as open interest rebuilds. If not, this rally will end up being a sharp reset rather than the start of a new uptrend.
BREAKING: Ethereum extends gains to over +11% on the day, now up +20% from its Friday low.
Dip buyers are in full swing after a -$19.5 billion record liquidation.
The equity futures market open is going to be big.
