I received a $60k offer for all 36 .si domains that I owned at the time, from someone on X at the start of the superintelligence boom.
If you've followed my 17 sales that I've reported daily, you'll see that it would've been a bad idea to accept it.
Thankfully I didn't.
Had received an offer of $8800 for below bundle couple of days back.

I can’t believe how many domain investors use meaningless metrics to value a domain name.
“It’s registered in 250 extensions!”
Who gives a shit? I sure as hell don't.
How many of those registrations represent successful businesses?
That’s the question.
You will be counting domainers buying the same crap in different extensions.
You will be counting businesses protecting their brands.
Who gives a shit?
Neither tells me what someone can build on the name. Neither tells me about value.
Tell me there are 80 successful businesses using that name across other extensions. Now you’ve told me something meaningful. There are audiences. There are commercial uses. There are businesses making it work.
Registration alone proves none of that.
It's meaningless besides being silly.
“It was registered in 1995!”
So what? Again, who gives a shit? It doesn't make the domain worth one penny more!
It either means something or it doesn’t. It either has an audience or it doesn’t. Can a company build its WORLD HEADQUARTERS on it? Or not??
Stop measuring what’s easy to count while ignoring what actually matters.
The mines are open. You can walk in and register names all day long. And many will still walk out with worthless garbage because, after all these years, they don’t know what they’re looking for.
Following other people's mistakes doesn't help you pick a winner.
I post the names I acquire so you can see my thought process. What I believe has value today. What I believe could have value tomorrow. What a builder could use. What a business could grow into.
I’m looking for audiences, commercial purpose, and the foundation for a company’s world headquarters.
I stay away from swampland with no audience.
Counting how many other people bought the swampland doesn’t make it valuable.
The name itself is the only thing that has value ir not. None of the other bullshit counts.
I can find pigeon shit registered in hundreds of extensions all day long.
The only ones that care are the ones that own the pigeon shit.
So if you don’t own pigeon shit, stop using other people’s pigeon shit as a valuation metric. It makes you look like a rookie.

As promised. Let’s take a closer look at .si on SellerHub 🚀
Here's what stood out:

Sellers listed .si rapidly. The numbers rocketed to more than 33x the earlier listing count. Domains sold rose to almost 17x.
2.
Oct 8-14 looked stable against the week before, with nearly the same number of .si domains added to SellerHub and a bit fewer sold.
3.
Checkout links currently lead as the source of .si sales, with 49% of completed sales coming through this channel, followed by Spaceship and Namecheap search.
4.
Here's how sellers are pricing their .si domains:
Under $1,000: 6%
$1,000 to $4,999: 21%

7.
And for completed sales, Buy It Now leads with 88% of .si purchases.
8.
The top 10 .si sales range from under $20K to $84K, with 4 sales reaching $50K+. The domains are mostly short, memorable dictionary words with clear commercial or tech-related use cases, plus a few broader brandable names.
📊 That's what we're seeing, and we'll keep tracking it. What are your observations on .si so far?

How to build a huge portfolio today
Straight from the Horse's mouth
I asked @mikemanndotcom this question 4 years ago.
If I thought it was too much work and too much investment, I would still be crying about Afternic landers not working today
I have been buying names from Auctions every single day, one at a time. Sometime I buy a name for say 2K, and I will quickly bulk scan if similar names are listed for less and I will snap them up if the price makes sense.
SOmetime i get inspired a 2 word combination and quickly scan what kind of price they sold for, or are currently listed for and there are similar names available to hand reg. Many times specially bulk of the names that are sold for 400-500 a pop, you will find very close adjacents for hand reg. But those are far and few in between
Here is how I buy
I buy as much as my cash flow allows and I optimize for maximum cashflow
I buy the best opportunity that are up in auction in timeframe. You need to quickly decide if paying 1000 for A is better than paying 700 for B
I don't buy names for specificity. I don't care if a kew word has raised funds. I look at the big picture and see fund rasing pattern in the industry and buy more names
instead of betting on one Horse by fighting with other degens
If BlueHorse raised funds, I will not fight to win blueHorse
Rather I would see the funding pattern of horse and buy green horse and brown horse for the price I would pay for Blue Horse
I would still bid on Blue widget though, for the culture.
It is a long road but this is the way
One at a time
