Dating has been desperate for innovation in a way that actually helps real people for at least the last five years. Building a database with a voice agent you pay $$$$ to enter is the most techbro take on dating ever, because it thinks only “efficiency” and utility is the point. So Silicon Valley keeps trying to build a DoorDash for Girlfriend model, with zero actual empathy for real people. Plus it is adverse selection - anyone who can’t find love otherwise puts themselves in because there is no fun or other reason to.
People don’t need a Mr/Ms Perfect. People need someone who is Perfect-for-them. People deserve to be seen and loved for who they really are. People deserve to feel less alone - as if they are failing if they don’t yet have the perfect life. It is high time technology works FOR the people, not to exploit them. Today we have the capability to do so much more with the tools in hand. Leadership and vision today matters more than it has in a decade.
dating is among the most potent consumer social space. and we are witnessing the transition from match group/bumble dominated era to the age of warring states again.
hearing from sources that match group (tinder, hinge, pretty much every single dating app) is financially, organizationally in shambles, not to mention the dilution of coherent vision.
finding love is one of those fields that can never be replaced as long as we exist.
been watching @Celesteamadon of @dateknown and her taste and grind gives off prime time whiteney wolfe energy. @ditto_dates is interesting too.
look out for the new king of this space.

Does @temple really monitor blood flow to the brain, or just the scalp?
In our second validation study, we tested Temple BrainFlow against time-domain NIRS, one of the few technologies that can separate brain blood volume changes from scalp blood volume changes. We had 60 participants go through three physiological challenges: head-down tilt, stand-to-squat, stand-to-supine.
Across all three challenges, Temple BrainFlow tracked brain blood volume at r=0.84-0.91, significantly more than scalp blood volume. The most significant result came from head-down tilt, where Temple's correlation with the brain was 0.91, and scalp correlation was just 0.49.
Key takeaway: Temple tracks the brain, much more than the scalp.
Why this matters: Cerebral Blood Flow responds to almost everything longevity-oriented people already do. It rises with aerobic exercise, and VO2max correlates directly with it. It rises with cold exposure. It rises with meditation. Better sleep sustains it. It drops when you sit for too long. It drops when you are dehydrated. It is one of the most responsive and integrative biomarkers of how well your body is actually running, and aging.
Until now, you could only measure it in a clinical setting, in a single snapshot. Temple measures it continuously, in real time, while you live your life. And Temple is, as of today, the only wearable in the world with validations against brain blood volume, and not just scalp.
This study was guided by our Scientific Advisor, Prof. David Boas, Director of Boston University's Neurophotonics Center, and the mind behind several new, high-impact, biomedical optical technologies in neuroscience, including NIRS.
This is the second modality Temple BrainFlow is now validated against, after Transcranial Doppler. More coming soon.

The paper is posted as a preprint and submitted for peer review. We encourage researchers to replicate this. We'll happily loan Temples to any qualified researcher who wants to pressure-test any of our metrics independently.

A big moment for C2i Semiconductors (@C2iSemi). Ram, Preetam, Vikram, Dattatreya and team have shown that world class IP can be built in India.
When we first met Ram Anant and his co- founders, they had a bold idea: that power delivery, not compute, would become the real bottleneck for AI infrastructure, and that a system-level, software-defined approach to power could solve it.
Today, that vision has led to C2i being acquired by Infineon.
What stands out isn't just the technology. It's that the entire chip, architecture, design, verification, was built end-to-end out of Bengaluru. C2i is proof that India isn't just a services hub for global semiconductor companies anymore. It's a place where deep, IP-owning, hard-tech companies can be built from scratch, taped out, and scaled to a global acquirer, based entirely on Indian R&D talent.
Congratulations to the entire C2i team. We're incredibly proud to have been part of the journey 🎉

Six years ago, in the middle of COVID, when I was at Sequoia India & SEA — now Peak XV — I interviewed Mukesh bhai on Zoom as part of The Guild, for a series of conversations curated for a community of leading founders.
One thing he said stayed with me.
“Because we’re family, we show up.”
He spoke about how, whenever an individual at Reliance needs the organisation — at a birth, a death, a major life event or a medical crisis in the family — we are there.
It stood in stark contrast to some of the conversations on culture I had heard from global CEOs. There was something about this that felt uniquely Indian, and uniquely Reliance: an organisation of extraordinary scale, held together by very human bonds of care.
Fast forward a few years. When I joined the Group and we were asked to commemorate an internal employee event with a film, we unanimously felt that this was the story we wanted to tell.
The story of an organisation of unparalleled scale, yet interwoven with bonds of care — care implemented at scale.
At its heart is Reliance’s founding philosophy: “We Care.”
Or, as @prasoonjoshi_ so eloquently expressed it in the title and the lyrics of the anthemic song that closes the film:
“Parvah hai toh Parivar hai.” (Care is what makes a family).
The documentary is a simple, authentic and deeply heartfelt story, told through the voices of @RIL_Updates employees and the extended Reliance community.
So grateful to @guneetm, Achin Jain and @sikhyaent without them this would not have been possible; Disha Rindani for her sensitive direction; Prasoon Joshi for the soul-stirring words; and @Shankar_Live, @sid_mahadevan and @souumil_ds for the music that gives the film its soaring finish.
And to the many, many people who poured their hearts into making this film — you know who you are.
Thank you. ❤️
#ParvahHaiTohParivarHai — a story about what it means to show up for one another.

The right connections can change trajectories of companies. Finding them is the hard part.
That’s the idea behind Beyond by Peak XV.
For a founder, the right CXO could become a customer, design partner, advisor or an important source of perspective. For a CXO, the right founder could offer an early look at a technology or approach that changes how their company solves a problem.
We recently hosted the first edition of Beyond in San Francisco, bringing together leaders from companies including Google, Verizon, Dell, Bayer, Pfizer, Carrier, Cox and Amazon. Thank you to the leaders who took the time out to engage with our founders.
We look forward to hosting many more such discussions as Beyond by Peak XV expands to other cities and sectors.

We aren’t suggesting you one shot it! But it’s pretty good
Finally tried Agent Two by InVideo, and here’s the output.
It’s not perfect, but it removed almost 90% of the usual trial and error, saving a lot of time and effort.
Working with Agent Two feels more like making clear yes-or-no decisions than constantly writing prompts or handling every creative detail yourself. It presents the next step, asks for your approval, and then moves forward.
This output came from a single generation. I didn’t regenerate scenes, rewrite prompts, or spend hours fixing the result.

A specialised creative crew of AI agents, trained on real creative expertise. Name the role and it's filled: creative director, DOP, storyboard artist, and more. And they talk to each other. Independently. In parallel.
You're no longer briefing each agent one by one: you're running a crew, exactly like on set.
Expert agents. Now in conversation.

The most rewarding part of building a platform is seeing how it gets stronger as it scales.
Every new consumer who shops on the platform improves recommendations. Every new seller expands choice. Every order strengthens our logistics network. Every interaction makes our trust systems smarter. Together, they create a better experience for the next consumer and seller who joins.
That's what gives us confidence in the long-term opportunity ahead.
Our Q1 FY27 results reflect that progress:
274 million Annual Transacting Users, up 29% YoY
725 million orders processed, up 29% YoY
₹11,614 crore NMV, up 34% YoY
4.6% Contribution Margin, up 54 bps QoQ
LTM Free Cash Flow improved by 15% QoQ to (₹537 crore)
We're also investing in the next phase of our platform. AI is improving how consumers discover products, how sellers grow, how we build trust across the marketplace and how our engineering teams build software. These investments are helping us build a platform that becomes more capable, more efficient and more accessible as it scales. – at Devanahalli, India

Technology has always been at the heart of how we've expanded access to internet commerce. Today, we're entering the next phase of that journey.
Every major technology shift has lowered the barrier to participation. The internet made information accessible. Smartphones made it mobile. Cloud computing made it easier to build businesses. AI is now doing the same for commerce.
Across Meesho, AI is already reshaping how we build. PRISM is making discovery more personalised, TrustMesh is strengthening trust at scale, Vaani is making shopping more conversational, while AI-powered seller tools are helping entrepreneurs grow more easily. AI is also changing how our engineering teams work, allowing them to spend more time solving complex problems and less time on repetitive execution.
These investments are translating into stronger outcomes across the business:
274 million Annual Transacting Users, up 29% YoY
725 million orders processed, up 29% YoY
₹11,614 crore NMV, up 34% YoY
4.6% Contribution Margin, up 54 bps QoQ
LTM Free Cash Flow improved by 15% QoQ
For us, AI is becoming foundational to how the platform learns, improves and scales. We're still early in this journey, but the impact is already visible across the business.
We share more about our technology investments and our Q1 FY27 performance in our latest Shareholder Letter. Read it here.

When we started Cars24, the idea was simple, make buying and selling cars ridiculously easy.
But anyone who's been through it knows the reality: calls, document checks, financing, inspections, follow-ups. A lot can go wrong between "I want to sell my car" and "Sold."
That's why we've been working with @OpenAI to bring AI-powered voice and chat agents into the heart of our customer experience, not as a gimmick, but as the backbone of how we support millions of customers across buying, selling, financing, and after-sales.
The early results speak for themselves:
→ 50% increase in customer support resolution rates
→ 80% reduction in turnaround time across key workflows
But what excites me most isn't the numbers, it's what this means for our customers. Faster answers. Fewer handoffs. A more reliable experience every single time.
We're just getting started.

India has 900 million monthly active users on the internet. 750m of us are daily active users. All digital infra - including payments - now in place. The average Indian internet user consumes 42 GB per user per month (up 600x over the past decade). With this giga scale, I am no longer surprised with what happened this morning. Met a team building in consumer AI in India. launched 6 months ago and already at Rs 100CR revenue run rate with 15% PAT, with a 6 person team. Most importantly, strong retention. This would have been impossible to imagine even a few years ago in India.

There are actually very few leaders across the world who can claim to grow a pure play consumer app without any physical operations from 0 to millions of users. Even fewer in the last decade and those are likely happily running their startups.
@Meta is lucky to have found Kunal at a juncture when @CRED_club is profitable and charting out its next decadal journey. Kunal recognizes the opportunity of leading a large consumer portfolio like Whatsapp, I mean we all believe that the product has the potential to do so much more than where it is today.
