The date on your 90-day hold can move, and your processor doesn’t have to tell you why.
Your customers have up to 120 days to dispute a charge, so every new dispute gives the processor a reason to push the date back.
The money sits there while the business stalls, and every update is a template email with a new date on it.
If you sign up with a second processor, speed matters, but make sure it’s one that communicates with you so you don’t have to deal with BS like this again.
There's a reason the merchants I work with have a direct line to me and someone else who can act on their account at any time.

i scraped 234,830 B2B ads from linkedin & meta to copy what works.
(and i’m giving it away, for free)
for context -
after managing WELL over $100M in ad spend over my career, I’m convinced of 1 thing:
if you want to be good at B2B ads, you have to study the best ones.
but almost nobody is willing to do that research.
they:
1. open a blank page
2. write something random about the product
3. pray that it works
4. and put spend behind it
the reason why?
knowing what ACTUALLY works for LinkedIn, Meta, and Google ads takes forever.
you'd have to dig through thousands of ads to find the 10 worth stealing.
(and when i do find one i like, i look at the offer first, then the ad, then the landing page it sends people to. this takes even LONGER)
that said...
i spent an entire week putting this together.
i put the whole collection into 1 free library, organized so you never start from a blank page again.
what's inside:
• 234,830 ads from 1,000 linkedin advertisers and 1,000 B2B meta advertisers
• filters for vertical, audience, offer, format, hook and proof
• collections by goal: book demos, get trial signups, promote a report, fill a webinar
• the thought leadership ads brands are boosting into your feed right now
• landing pages and thank-you pages from datadog, postman, browserstack and floqast, ready to edit
• 49 editable ad designs in paper you can copy and make your own
• an MCP so your AI agent can search the whole library for you
i built it for my own clients, and i think every B2B advertiser should have it.
if you want in, the details are below:

Had a call recently with a guy who spent $9,000 on ads & $50,000 on "paid ads coaches"
He only managed to get 1 out of 15 people to show up to the sales call
I don't even know what the show rate is on that lol, like 7%?
Completely abysmal lol
According to him they had a good sales team so the leads weren't good
But when we looked through it was much deeper than that
The ads were flat out targeting the wrong type of people aka they were shit both in the messaging and visuals
If he fixes that show rate will improve dramatically
But that's not the complete fix
Sales team also has to be very proactive:
- Dialing leads within 1-5 mins of booking
- Sending personalized followups instead of lazy call confirmation
- Just overall getting them engaged before the call and he'll have no problems getting people to show up

Message-market fit is the most IMPORTANT aspect of an outbound campaign.
6 variables you can test to find it:
→ OPENERS:
• context
• role
• stack
• outcome-based
→ VALUE PROPS:
• revenue up
• cost down
• risk down
• speed up
→ PROBLEM CALLS:
• minor annoyance
• critical blocker
→ SOCIAL PROOF:
• logos
• named customers
• quantified results
→ OFFERS:
• free trial
• upfront work
• audit
• benchmark
• industry insight
• demo
→ CTAs:
• soft
• time-based
• choice-based
—
Most outbound programs fail because the MESSAGE is misaligned.
That’s why we treat messaging as an ongoing experiment system.
The objective is to systematically test messaging variables until you identify combinations that produce consistent, high-intent replies for each segment.
Save this for your next campaign.

After being responsible for over $1.6B in sales... I’m giving away the FULL 30-day tracking system I set up for a client's sales team.
(you'll know exactly why your leads don't book, don't show and don't buy)
Right now you know how many calls got set this month, and how many closed.
You don't know WHY the rest didn’t.
Your setters push shaky leads onto your closer's calendars. Some of them never show. Some show up and tell your closer they're "just gathering information."
So you go back and listen to the set calls one at a time, trying to figure out which setter is gunking up the calendar. Or you stop checking and buy more leads.
The reasons are stuck in your setter's and closer's heads, because nobody ever writes them down.
About a month ago I set up one shared sheet for a client's sales team, and the setters and closers write the reason down every time a lead drops out. Now the whole team can see WHERE the funnel is leaking.
So I put the whole thing into one 30-day sales sprint
Inside:
1. The 3-tab tracking sheet, with every column header ready to paste into Google Sheets or Excel
2. The 4 columns for Tab 1 (sets not booked) that show you which leads marketing sends that your setters can't get onto a closer's calendar
3. A no-show policy for Tab 2, the reminder schedule (24, 3, 2 and 1 hour before the call) and the three-way group text that gets people to show up
4. The "reason for not buying" log for Tab 3 that tells you if a lost deal was a payment, finance, qualification or training issue
5. The skill, will or focus check that tells you what each closer needs next
6. An AI prompt that reads your no-show notes and shows you which setters underset and which ones overset
7. The 30-day read that tells you where to intervene first: setters, show mechanics or closer skill (sometimes it's all of them)
No new software. A Google Sheet or an Excel file works fine. It depends on your call volume, but for most of you a month is enough data.
PS - The kit also shows you how to trace a lost deal back to the set call, so you know what your setter needs to tie down next time.

i turned an entire 43,000-contact lead table into a live dashboard with 1 prompt.
Clay's API + Claude Code gave me:
• how many contacts actually have a work email, and how many rows we never enriched at all
• the persona split, from director to founder to CEO to C-suite to VP
• the function split across sales, ops, marketing, engineering and finance
• 14 duplicates out of 43,000, which honestly shocked me for a list that size
• the geography breakdown and the companies we hold the most contacts for
• a projection of what the table would look like fully enriched
the wild part is we already owned every bit of this.
for years all that data just was inside Clay and you had to click through it column by column.
now it just takes 1 prompt to see it.
Every week I audit a couple dozen Shopify brands doing 50K to 5 million per month.
The 1st number I look for that tells me EVERYTHING I need to know:
Repeat purchase rate.
If it's under 25%, I already know the retention system is broken.
Doesn't matter how good the ads are or how clean the creative looks.
Because if customers buy once and never come back, you're just renting revenue.
RPR tells you whether your backend is actually working or just existing.

"10-20 qualified calls guaranteed" is a terrible offer if you're trying to go upmarket.
Better prospects simply will not respond to it.
Someone spending $2,000 a day on ads wants to learn something from you first.
They wanna see:
- Some reputation
- Some proof
- That you get their exact problem
- Exactly how you'll solve it
So who do they trust more?
The guy whose ad actually taught them something.
That's why our middle of funnel ads all TEACH:
- Case study breakdowns (actually showing HOW)
- Whiteboard and vibe board ads
- Loom walkthroughs of a client's ad account
- Demos of a problem getting solved

delivery improved by 50-70% after moving over to us.
before that, this customer was dealing with inconsistent support, slower timelines and no real backing from their provider.
what they got instead:
• personal 1:1 attention, which they called rare
• in-depth analysis and fixes, all backed by data
scaling gets way easier with all this on your side.

this ad doesn't show the product once
it's just two people swing dancing in front of an audience
caption: "what it feels like when you start losing weight easily at 50+"
that's the entire creative
then she drops into a full split and gets back up like it's nothing
and the crowd loses it
no before/after / no scale / no doctor / no ingredients
just the feeling the buyer actually wants
most weight loss brands sell the number on the scale
this one sells how you'll feel at 50 once it's gone
350 days running
added this + a bunch of similar health ads to the swipe file

You don't have 3 seconds to grab attention. You have half a second, maybe 1.
Think about how you scroll. You're not watching the first 3 seconds of every ad. You decide in a blink whether this is something you want to see, and most ads lose that decision before the first word is spoken.
I watched a "don't buy this product" ad fade recently even though the format is great. The concept was strong, but the first seconds were slow and static, and the shot of the woman walking came too late. By the time it got interesting, people were gone.
4 ways to fix a slow hook:
1. Start with movement or something unexpected in the first frame
2. Put the most interesting line on screen immediately, not after an intro
3. Cut every second before the payoff that doesn't earn its place
4. Test 3 different openings on the same body before you give up on a concept
Before you kill a format, fix the first second. Cut your hook until the first frame moves.

What I'd do with $1k in UGC budget:
$800 on creators
- around 25 hours at $30 an hour, split across 5 creators
- 5 different faces so you can see who your buyers respond to
- 250+ full videos, even more if you stack hook swaps
$200 on editing
- 1 editor running every clip through the same capcut template
- captions and clean cuts, nothing fancy
Then run them on your normal ad budget:
- start with the strongest 30-50 videos
- read the hook rate after a few days
- kill the losers fast and move spend to whatever is working
Before you book anyone new:
- take the 2-3 winning hooks
- refilm them with new faces
- build round 2 off what round 1 told you
Spent on volume like this, $1k is enough to find your first real winner.

What people think happens when your company hits 9 figures in revenue:
- You stop being scrappy
- You can’t move fast
- You get further away from the customer
- You get complacent
- Your ideas belong with your team

What $100 gets you with UGC in 2027:
- 3-4 hours with a vetted creator on HourlyUGC
- around 30+ full talking head videos
- closer to 100+ videos with hook swaps on 1 body
- B-roll your editor can reuse for weeks
- an actual human holding your product
AI UGC gets you slop for the same price.
And an agency gets you maybe 1 video for that money + a 2 week wait on revisions.
Just use a platform like HourlyUGC and get it for $1-$2 per video.
