Qantas CEO Alan Joyce suggested the airline will require international travellers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Pauline Hanson slammed that as "unacceptable", so there's a new airline starting up, founded by satirist @markhumphries & his co-writer @evanwilliams. #abc730

Finally! Helpful reinforcement from the Chair in showing the inconsistency #DisabilityRC

Lassig just said that he doesn't know why a EAP verification is needed. Finally a direct answer from Lassig at the #DisabilityRC. The Chair is now clarifying that Lassig understands that there is conflict with EAP and the Dept's policy to provide all reasonable adjustments

Dr Mellifont: "Do you know why the department gets teachers parents/people to get a verification" if under the Inclusive Education Policy this is not required for adjustments? #DisabilityRC

An inclusive approach to assessment is vital. In my PhD study I argue that inclusive assessment is grounded in principles of quality assessment as well as principles of inclusion. Assessment literacy of those in charge of assessment is key and enables inclusion. #DisabilityRC

Ambiguity around exam questions/instructions has been a barrier during exams. Probably unintentional, but people designing exams should be more aware of the issue. #DisabilityRC

@MScharnke describes that she was unable to access the reasonable adjustment (ability to type answers) she needed in assessments unless her father paid significant funds to access additional psych testing. This is one of the big barriers to #InclusiveEducation #DisabilityRC

There is a discrepancy between intended and enacted practices of deployment of teacher aides by classroom techers. Int'l research (including my PhD) shows that communication teacher-teacher aide is often absent and aides help where they can, on the spot. #DisabilityRC

#DisabilityRC Thank you Chair Sackville for pointing out the language of "deliberate" "aggression" & "violence" 2 characterise the actions of a 5-yr-old child on the autism spectrum, when children under 10 cannot be held criminally responsible & many argue that age should be 14
