New Talarico ad running statewide: "Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right. "I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile. "I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

Since my departure from the televised grand spectacle, I have been thoroughly engulfed in an absolute maelstrom of relentless activity. Our peregrinations have ferried us across a multitude of exotic, ultramontane realms, wherein we experienced the profound jubilation of reconvening with long-estranged compatriots. Concurrently, I have surrendered my intellect to the voracious consumption of dense, hermetic tomes, immersing myself in the labyrinthine intricacies of highly recondite and intellectually stimulating subject matters. In a plurality of dimensions, my current state of existential industriousness vastly eclipses any prior epoch of my life. It’s been really cool.

Watch this now! Over eight years into our fight against ALS, we’ve made meaningful progress, but there’s still so much work to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you to @Whitney_Reynolds for the opportunity to share our story on her show on @PBS last night and why we refuse to give up until ALS is no longer a death sentence. Solid reporting on Fr. Ripperger.
I've had several exorcists and laity involved in exorcism ministry privately talk to me about this news. They respect Fr. Ripperger and appreciate his work, while acknowledging that Fr. Ripperger has engaged in concerning practices. Among them is Fr. Ripperger's practice of interrogating demons. Demons lie, as every exorcist knows. Nothing they say can be trusted. There are a minimal set of questions permitted in the rite of exorcism, and they say Fr. Ripperger goes far beyond these - and then in public interviews he repeats the answers he receives. Others have said the methods of his community (Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother) have harmed victims of demonic possession. I am aware of a lengthy demonic outbreak at a traditional religious community in 2023, where one of Fr. Ripperger's priests was sent to help. According to the community, as well as the victims of possession, that priest's methods caused greater harm than good, and did nothing to ease the affliction. It wasn't until another exorcist from a different community was sent to them that the demonic affliction ceased within days. People have strong loyalties to Fr. Ripperger, and for good reason. I've learned a great deal from him, and have listened to many hours of his talks and interviews. But as I said in my prior post, there may be reasons why his bishop (a trained exorcist himself) is asking Fr. Ripperger to take a fast from public speaking and focus on his community. I find it a good example that Father is submitting to his bishop in humble obedience, and I know that he has asked that Catholics not attack his bishop. Let's pray for all involved. 🙏

This is how you ethically report on something.
I've received the official statement from the archdiocese of Denver on Fr. Ripperger: "Archbishop Golka recently met with Fr. Chad Ripperger to discuss his ministry and his community, the Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother. During that conversation, the Archbishop asked Fr. Ripperger to consider a one-year fast from public speaking and interviews. The time will allow him to devote himself to the Society and to the people it serves. Fr. Ripperger readily agreed. At the end of the year, they will review the arrangement together. Archbishop Golka is grateful for Fr. Ripperger’s priestly service, exorcism ministry, and for the generous spirit in which he received this request. We ask the faithful to join us in praying for Fr. Ripperger and for the Society."

LSN broke the news that the Denver archbishop has asked exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger to take a one-year break from public speaking. While LSN is taking a critical view of the bishop's actions, I suspect there is more to the story. Bishop Golka is a trained exorcist who studied at the highly regarded Pope Leo XIII Institute. As an exorcist himself, he must've seen or heard something in Fr. Ripperger's public (or private) remarks that were sufficiently concerning to cause him to take such action. I also understand that the USCCB may be publishing new guidelines restricting public appearances by all American exorcists, over concerns that the ministry has become too public. I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, exorcism used to be a deeply private ministry, and for good reason. On the other hand, when you remove solid exorcists from the public sphere, all the quacks with crazy, harmful ideas rush in to fill the void, offering terrible advice and wrong catechesis on spiritual warfare. This is especially true in these times, when demonic activity is on the rise and so many souls are seeking guidance. On a related note, I noticed last week that Fr. Ripperger's status in the Denver archdiocese had changed to "retired" earlier this year, and his community of Doloran Fathers is no longer listed on the website.

A NEW STEP FORWARD! Clene’s CNM-Au8, available through ACT for ALS-funded EAPs, has been submitted to the FDA. If approved, it could reach everyone in the U.S. living with ALS in 2027. People with ALS don’t have time to wait. We urge a timely review.
A major milestone for Clene: We’ve submitted an NDA to the FDA seeking accelerated approval of investigational CNM-Au8® for ALS. Thank you to the patients, families and partners who helped make this step possible. Read More: invest.clene.com/news-releas…

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

People aren't lining up to risk five years in federal prison just to cast an illegal vote that almost certainly won't change an election. That's like robbing a bank, risking years behind bars, only to discover the vault contains a lottery ticket with virtually no chance of winning. And somehow we're supposed to believe this is happening on a massive scale?

Donald, congratulations. You've managed to turn a man's name into a constitutional crisis and a campaign rally into a fourth-grade playground. His name is Abdul El-Sayed. He's an American citizen running for the United States Senate. You don't get to redefine his identity because you're too petty to show him basic respect. And calling a Muslim American a "jihadist" without evidence isn't political debate. It's bigotry dressed up as a campaign speech. "I'm the President. I can call him whatever the hell I want." Yes, Donald. And the rest of us can call you an ignorant, thin-skinned bigot who apparently thinks winning an election makes him everyone's schoolyard bully. The presidency gives you constitutional responsibilities, not a royal exemption from basic decency. You're supposed to lead the country, Donald. Not audition for the role of its most embarrassing uncle at Thanksgiving.
Trump: "This guy is a jihadist. Mohammed El-Sayed. He said 'my name is not Mohammed.' I said, 'I'm the President of the United States. I can call you whatever the hell I want.'"

I would like to thank all those who have prayed for me in recent days. I wish to express my particular gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all the staff of the Gemelli Hospital. This experience has made me feel particularly close to all those who are living with illness or infirmity. Now that I have overcome this delicate phase I will gradually resume my activities, always with God’s help and your prayers.

BREAKING: Russia and the US are discussing building US data centers running on Russian nuclear power, per Putin's economic envoy Dmitriev. "We are discussing joint projects in the field of Russia-USA data centers, including with the use of our nuclear power plants," Dmitriev says. He says Putin and Trump are discussing a wide range of projects. "I think we will be announcing some important initiatives in the near future." "We have previously said that there is a very large synergistic effect between Russia and the United States in the Arctic, in the LNG sector, and in other energy projects," Dmitriev adds.
