This is the givesendgo page for Nomes, who has built a pole dancing studio and business for women only. Ten years of hard work. And now her business has been targeted by TRAs, so she faces an ordeal through our courts for the right to say No to men. Please help by giving or sharing. Brilliant! What she said #FixtheSDA #auspol @abcnews @ABCmediawatch we're not going anywhere. How do you reconcile your failure to report on these issues, your failure to consider the lives of women and girls? @AlboMP Do Your Job! #WomensRightsAreHumanRights #SexMatters
Trans rights are violence against women and girls.

As we gather in our hundreds on 12 July at the Fix the Act Rally, 10.30am Queens Garden Park, Brisbane CBD, let's acknowledge with respect the women and men who began the rallies in 2022. These photos are from 28 May 2022 at Speakers Corner outside Parliament House. IWD Meanjin was already hosting IWD rallies from 2018 and in May 2022 we came together to focus just on the need to restore women's sex-based rights. We campaigned against the Qld Labor Government's plans to pass sex self identification. We lost, the Qld Labor Govt passed the Men Are Women laws in June 2023. And the current Qld LNP Govt lacks the courage to repeal them. It's also fair to acknowledge that although most support for women's sex-based rights does come from the Right, IWD Meanjin Brisbane is from the Left and we began the movement in Qld. That's probably why some would attempt to erase IWD Meanjin but we're not going anywhere. Back on 28 May 2022 we were 25 or 26 people. Over the next months we never exceeded those numbers. Let's pass those numbers by many times on July 12.

Can the next person who challenges her in TERF Island please ask her about “Sally”Goldner? Did he and his pals from Transgender Victoria just walk into Parliament House and ask her if she’d mind just popping gender identity into law for them? Sure looks that way, @JuliaGillard

The audacity and hypocrisy of this woman are beyond belief. Hunt laments ongoing “confusion” about sex and gender - which she has done more than anyone else in the UK to create. She actually says - I’m not making this up - “It is our job to create good law.” Hunt spent her entire time as CEO of Stonewall undermining the law, creating confusion and above all training public and private sector organisations nationwide to “go beyond the law.” That meant - break the law. It meant acting as if the UK had sex self-ID. Which it has never had. But institutions and organisations from the NHS to the police followed her lead. They misrepresented and broke the law. And this monstrous individual - I’m sorry, I don’t use this word lightly - dares to say, in the House of Lords - in which her presence makes a mockery of our institutions: “It is our job to create good law.” How dare she. How dare she!

If you thought Tickle v Giggle was bad, buckle up. These two Australian women are also being dragged through the courts because they object to the idea that men can be women. One of them has been slapped a 95k fine for X posts! Please support Kirralie Smith and Jasmine Sussex.

I imagine feeling accepted was a huge part of the case for Jason Tickle. Wanting to be considered the same as women. Has it worked? No. He got one woman fined, but she doesn’t now magically think he’s a woman. None of us do. The case only exists as he’s a man. The case in itself is evidence that he’s male. He won the court case, but made himself loathed in the process. He highlighted glaring issues with legislation, left women without their rights and made Australia look utterly batshit. All in the name of acceptance. What an exercise in futility. Sall however has overwhelmingly won public opinion and on that basis laws will be changed, which is the real solution to this mess.

reading the giggle v tickle (2026) judgement that was published yesterday. some interesting departures from trans activist ideology: 1) the gender identity of a transwoman is "transwoman", _not_ "woman". that means transwomen do not share a gender identity with women. universal gender identity is false. 2) discrimination can be done on the basis of "a characteristic that appertains generally to persons who have the same gender identity as the aggrieved person". this characteristic, according to the judgement, is looking like a man. 3) transwomen, as a distinct protected group (_not_ trans people generally), have in common that they look like men. 4) as usual, no explanation is offered for why a transwoman is a type of woman rather than a type of man. the judgement refers to "gender identity" that is different from "sex assigned at birth" but does not explain what gender identity has to do with sex. e.g. "" transgender" which refers to a person whose gender identity is different from their sex as registered at birth". 5) the federal court decision effectively prevents the exclusion of males from female-only spaces due to the fear that if that male-appearance person turns out to be a transwoman rather than an ordinary man, the exclusion can turn out to have been direct discrimination. you don't need to actually be treating someone worse _because you believe they are trans_. 6) this is so genuinely absurd—that the shared characteristic of transwomen on the basis of which they might be discriminated against is also shared with ALL MEN—that giggle will surely win on appeal to the high court. that's my saturday morning hot take, anyway. ⭐
