Today the Meanjin Brisbane women's rights activists took it to Qld Parliament House. AGAIN. Our call to the LNP Crisafulli Qld Government to repeal Qld Labor's sex self identification law that was passed three years ago (no consultation with women), met with tremendous support from car, bus and truck drivers. When women have asked LNP MPs to act by getting rid of the 2023 legislation, we have been told women's rights can only be restored by the Federal Govt. Not quite true. The Qld Govt passed sex self identification, it can repeal it. Community views indicate most people know how damaging sex self identification IS. Premier David Crisafulli MP, Minister for Women Fiona Simpson MP please do your jobs. We'd like to acknowledge our tee shirt design by Kit Kowalski. We will never stop fighting for our rights with you Sall x Back in 2024 Kit Kowalski used her page on X to invite people to use her Sall design. A number of commercial outlets did exactly that but we think we're the first women's rights group to do so. And of course the money from OUR sales is ploughed straight back into the women's rights struggle. In a nice stroke of 'pay it forward', we had been able to assist Kit with a donation from our other merch sales some years ago to help with her expenses in researching ACON's links with the ABC. Money made by the terf movement stays in the terf movement!
