This book is brilliant. I’m only 35 pages in and I’ve already learned how judgement can be hugely skewed by emotion and how polarisation can develop in different expert camps, both sides of which feel fully vindicated by the evidence. A useful read for edutwitter maybe?

@meadowdalemh’s latest session of Lesson Study took place today and, for a brief part of it, we reflected on how lucky we are to work within an organisation that prioritises high quality CPD even in the most difficult of circumstances. BTW, this is an excellent article.

As educators we are in a unique position of influence and it’s our duty to do 2 things: 1. Promote all minority groups in as positive light as possible at every opportunity 2. Challenge every single last tiny piece of discrimination every time within our schools.

The most important of messages from Mark McCourt @EmathsUK 👇👇👇Read his brilliant book, Teaching for Mastery, to find out how to facilitate ongoing learning for all. It’s about maths but the lessons learned can be applied to any subject in any key stage.

I’ve accepted the challenge from @nic_mrsh to post covers of 7 children’s books I LOVE: no explanations, no review, just cover. Each time I post I will ask someone else to take up the challenge. 1 cover a day for a week. My day 1 nomination is @Wells14Rachel

Yes, indeed. You can also buy his book via the website, which is well worth the £7.50 if you want all of the detail...
