I'm sorry I've been out of touch. I've been on a social media break while dadding and writing and praying and trying to exist and be of service in this weird world. However, I've got some work coming out in dream publications and I'd love for you to check it out. (1/3)

I first saw Alyssa Edwards compete in the Miss Gay Texas pageant in 2002. I have been a fan ever since.
I could not be prouder as a fan, a gay, and a born-and-raised Texan who also grew up in the Baptist church to applaud this perfect response to that bargain basement bigot.

This is how implicit bias and transphobia work. Even when you “pass” and can play other roles. Although production is down as a whole and that is part of it too. I was attached to co-lead a couple films after Monica but both fell apart while securing funding. Outside of that not many offers or auditions, even after the Indie Spirit nomination and Variety cover.

Jack Haven, Trace Lysette, Elliot Paige, Dominique Jackson, Like the list goes on. Trans actors have been having a hellish time finding work and this needs to be discussed more
Trans actors are having trouble finding any work. Jack Haven & Elliot Page are two of many trans artists who do incredible work, but still passed over.

Sixty-three years ago today, Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson, and Cynthia Wesley were murdered in the bombing of Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church.
They were children. Their lives were stolen by racial hatred and terrorism.
Remember their names. Honor their lives. And continue the work of confronting the hatred and dehumanization that made their murders possible.

You fail to see the big picture in how AI violence against women influences our society. Studies have already shown a correlation between deep fakes and sexual violence against women, and a correlation between online harassment of women and physical violence.
Replying to @JennaLaineESPN
the recognition that it is wrong and that Sark would never do that is why it's funny

I’ll go a step further. ESPN should also disclose to its viewers that their parent company, Disney, has donated money to lobby for this legislation, per Open Secrets, a nonprofit that tracks political spending.

Huh, the dudes who claimed to be concerned with "protecting women in sports" aren't actually concerned with protecting women in sports?
You don't say. I'm shocked. This is brand new information.

No hate to Dom but the ESPN body issue is to celebrate athletes bodies and taking control of their bodies in spite of criticism they receive in a more artistic way, for example Serena Williams, one of the greatest tennis players of all time, was told she looks like a man and is gross for having a more muscular build, meanwhile Sydney Sweeney ad is more “here’s a football over my boobs and vagina now go gamble your $$ away”

Remember when men *on here* were telling women that we were overreacting about the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team laughing at Trump’s joke about the women’s hockey team? This is why we’ll keep overreacting, thanks.
