.@troyesivan visited The Rolling Stone Studio and spoke about the loneliness that helped inspire part of his new album, ‘She’s the Best.’: “My last album was this hypersexual, super-connected album that I wrote when I was feeling very much like a citizen of the world. At some point along the way, a disconnect started to form where I was going home to the hotel by myself, and I actually was feeling deeply lonely a lot of the time.”

I think it was the rest of the world finally kind of seeing what queer people have seen in her forever. To know Charli is to be inspired by Charli.”

During an interview at The Rolling Stone Studio, @troyesivan talked about trying to suppress his feminine side when he was a kid: “It was something I grew up fighting. Over the years, I’ve chipped away at that shame and, through it, found so much freedom.”

I think you need to have a very light hand. It’s a really, really, really difficult genre to make.”
