Can you IMAGINE the shame of being the guy who Pretty Womaned KELLY F*CKING CLARKSON?!?
Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎
Nope. This is just homophobic.
Scott is very out as gay, and there are myriad reasons to come for him that aren’t that, so this doesn’t even fall under the “no we’re using their own homophobia to mock them” umbrella.
Do better Kyle.

Houdini is being resurrected by AI for a three-part Fox Nation series titled "Houdini: Back from the Dead,” premiering Oct. 14.
The series chronicles Houdini’s life through his own “words.” The AI-generated Houdini persona will appear similarly to a documentary subject, answering questions about the late illusionist’s life.

An open letter to @KenPaxtonTX
I first saw Alyssa Edwards compete in the Miss Gay Texas pageant in 2002. I have been a fan ever since.
I could not be prouder as a fan, a gay, and a born-and-raised Texan who also grew up in the Baptist church to applaud this perfect response to that bargain basement bigot.
Dolly Parton’s death fits right there in the Flag Code definition you included.
Under “National tragedy.”
I completely disagree with lowering our flag for Dolly Parton.
Under the Flag Code (4 U.S.C. § 7(m)), the President orders half-staff primarily for principal government figures (presidents, vice presidents, Supreme Court justices, Cabinet secretaries, members of Congress, governors, etc.) and in some cases for other officials, foreign dignitaries, or national tragedies. Presidents have occasionally extended it to leading private citizens as a mark of national respect—Martin Luther King Jr. is a well-known example—but it is not the traditional or routine use for entertainers or cultural figures.
The US Flag needs to remain at full staff.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Flag Code gives the President discretion to order half-staff beyond principal government figures, with precedents including entertainer Bob Hope in 2003; President Trump ordered it for Dolly Parton.

No greater harm has been done to the modern Christian church than these heartfelt attempts to “love the sinner, hate the sin” because to the recipient, only the hate comes through.
And other family, children, friends, will grow to wonder if your love for them is conditional too.
My brother has fully transitioned.
He's grown breasts, had his name changed, vocal surgery, and has been on estrogen for years.
I've lost my brother.
We're less than a year and a half apart in age and were very close our entire upbringing. It's a very difficult burden to bear.
I have written many posts, and even articles, on the sin of transgenderism, most of which were written before I knew of his transition. I've written how according to the Bible, God has made everyone male and female (Gen. 1:27), showing how our sex or gender cannot be changed or altered in any way and how attempting to do so is rebellion against our Creator.
But working through the challenges this presents personally has really opened my eyes to just how complex and confusing this sin is:
• Do we let our children be around their Uncle, or will this cause confusion?
• Do we refer to him by his preferred pronouns of she/her to show we love him, or refer to him by he/him, which he hates, since he's a man?
• Do we refer to him by his birth name, or his name he's gone by for close to a decade?
• How do I minister to my younger sister and mother, who struggle with what to do?
• Should my Christian sister permit him to wear a dress at her wedding?
• How do we minister to my brother's soul? How do we care for him and love on him as he's entangled in a world of deception?
• Most importantly, how do I glorify God and be faithful to him in this all?
I don't know all the answers, but what I do know is this: no matter how close to home a sin issue hits, we must be faithful to the Word of God regardless of the real-world consequences it may have.
I can't lie to him by calling him a woman.
Enforcing his false reality by calling him a name that isn't his isn't showing love, it's actually hatred.
And if I never share the truths of the Bible with him on this sin, then I'm doing him harm, even if he vehemently disagrees.
But cutting him off completely and not talking to him at all isn't the way, either. Nor is constantly bringing up the reality of his sin when he's already said he wants nothing to do with Christianity, lest I cast pearls before swine (Matt. 7:6).
My sin issues are messy enough. But I've hardly been more aware of how damaging sin can be to others than when it presents such a major interruption to the harmony of my family.
So what do I do now? How do I move forward?
I love him, even if that love must take place from an increased distance due to the gap caused by his sin.
I be a brother to him.
I set boundaries for the spiritual protection of my children.
I text him.
I urge my family members to not cave in to the unbiblical lies.
I call him.
And I pray for him. That he may experience the grace of God in Christ Jesus knowing that just like he currently is, I too used to be a lost sheep without the Shepherd. And if it weren't for the kindness of God to a wretch like me, I'd still be hopelessly pursuing a sinful lifestyle too. As God did for me, he can still radically change my brother from the inside out if he repents and places his trust in Jesus.
And even if my brother never does, I will still love him and love on him, as that is the calling the Lord has for me as a follower of Christ.
"Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Cor. 6:9-11)
Sure sure but far more importantly, who are playing the 3 Silly Girls?
Glen Powell will reportedly play Gaston in Disney’s ‘BEAUTY AND THE BEAST’ prequel.

Yes. Correct. The “responsibility” for change falls on the people who want change. It has for every movement ever.
The ONLY people “it’s not my job to educate you” worked on were people already onside who learned more nuance.
It absolutely was common, haughty and exhausting.
Can you imagine if the Brits did this to every reimagining of Shakespeare
The Odyssey begins by showing an African rapper with rasta in the role of a Greek poet. We Greeks are forced to watch our Greek history and culture being disgraced and mocked across the entire world. What is Nolan's real role in doing something like this instead of casting a Greek person speaking Greek? What's the purpose of casting someone with rasta in the Greek world?
I'll tell you. Nolan and Hollywood are the real racists and enemies of the West. They hate us Greeks. The simplest confirmation comes from the fact that when a film is about African history, they don't cast white people, only Africans. When it's about Chinese or Japanese history, they cast only Asians, and they even speak only in their own language. But now that the time has come for a film based on Greek history with Greeks, not a single Greek is cast, they don't speak even a bit of Greek, and they don't even respect Homer. So, for films about European cultures, Africans, Asians, and anything else must be cast, but when it comes to African culture, whites are not allowed to play those roles.
This is the real racism of Hollywood.
Hollywood is a cancer that rots your souls and enslaves your minds and spirits. They hate you and they want to destroy you. Never forget the real enemies of the West and of your race. Those who are in universities, the academics, teaching your children how to hate their ancestors instead of honoring them. Don't do them the favor. Love the Greco-Roman world and fight those who hate you.
Never forget the traitors who took everything as a joke and contributed to the plan to destroy Western civilization.
My favorite part of the gay nude beach adventure is the wide range of pubic hair grooming decisions on display.
Alternating between the Les Miz and Man of La Mancha soundtracks full blast as warm up for the France/Spain World Cup game.
I’m always fascinated by people who want to make a sometimes or even often true point but then destroy the nuance of their own discussion by declaring it universally applicable.
One exception destroys their point and the conversation.
