🚨 BREAKING: Republicans spent over $20k on anti-Troy Jackson ads in the wrong state. They presumably confused Portland, Maine with Portland, Oregon

I wish our government would go after pedophiles like they go after brown men headed to work at 7 am. I wish they would close billionaire tax loopholes like they close our public schools. I wish they would fund healthcare like they fund forever wars in the Middle East.

I agreed to 3 debates over a month ago. You declined every single one. You love to talk tough on Fox. Say it to me on the debate stage.
The media refuses to cover Talarico’s record as a Socialist Democrat, but make no mistake we are going to make sure Texans know who he is. He will be California’s third Senator and we need your help to make sure that doesn’t happen. Go to KenPaxton.com to donate today.

Fox News complains that underage teenage girls aren’t getting pregnant enough: “The problem is teens and young adults. From ages 15-19, the fertility rate is down 70% in the last 2 decades, which means we are telling people who are young not to have babies.”

Collins: Do you believe that spouses should be off limits? El-Sayed: I'd rather not talk about spouses at all. The truth of the matter is that Donald Trump, almost as soon as I was nominated, tweeted a picture of me and my wife relative to him and his wife, trying to highlight the fact that my wife wears a hijab, as if to make an argument that that's somehow less American. And they have this interesting dynamic. Donald Trump says one thing(Data centers or tweets a picture of my wife) and then Vance pretends like it would be impossible for anybody ever to do something like that. So I'd like them to actually face down their own hypocrisy.

Historians, political scientists, anthropologist and psychologists will eventually study how the American people elected, not once, but twice, the most corrupt, destructive, ignorant individual who caused such incredible damage around the globe. Inexplicable.
Smiling like a pedophile who knows he will never be held accountable.

A company that didn't exist three weeks ago is selling gas fifty cents under market rate at twenty five Pennsylvania and New Jersey stations, and nobody involved will say who's paying for it. Freedom Fuel Network incorporated in Delaware on June 23. Trump promoted it on Truth Social a week later, calling it the work of a mystery "VERY smart Retailer" who "loves the U.S.A." Fuel industry veterans, the people who'd actually know, say they've never heard of it and can't figure out how it survives selling below wholesale. At least seven of the participating stations are owned by Blue Owl affiliates. Trump disclosed last month that he holds more than five million dollars in Blue Owl stock. Nobody has to prove a direct kickback here for this to matter. What we know for certain is a Delaware shell company sprang up days before a presidential promotion, slapped patriotic branding on gas stations partly owned by a company the president has a financial stake in, and is selling fuel at a loss nobody can explain, timed precisely to blunt cost of living anxiety before the midterms. The White House says there's no subsidy and no connection to Blue Owl. Maybe that's true. The appropriate response to "trust us" from this administration, on a financial question this specific, is to ask for the paperwork.

I’ve been watching the response of Christians to David Wood’s flippant and explicit admission of statutory rape, and overwhelmingly what I have seen has left me convinced that the church is not a safe place for victims. Many of you have confused *admission,* *cessation,* and *remorse* with contrition, confession and repentance. Perhaps remorse isn’t possible for Wood because of his condition. That’s ok — it’s the weakest indicator of repentance anyway. It can be performed. And often we are remorseful only because of the impact on ourselves. But contrition? That would be achievable and apparent. It is an attitude and posture that would look like humility, graciousness to pushback, and willingness to deeply consider whether he treated this too cavalierly. I have not seen that. What about confession? Has he done that? I don’t think so. Confession would involved accountability. What Wood did was admission: he acknowledged that he committed a crime. Confession would mean disclosing to the authorities for the sake of justice—not to an audience for an object lesson on the evil of Muhammad. It would mean fully accepting that he was at fault for choosing to violate minors for his gratification. It would mean willingness to face the legal consequences. It would mean registering as a sex offender. Do you see the difference? Admission serves only Wood and his audience. Everyone gets to feel good about supporting the reformed abuser and score points against an enemy. Confession, however, works for the justice of victims and safety of others. Similarly, “repentance” does not mean “cessation from rape” and “successful internet ministry.” Imagine if Zaccheaus’ repentance had looked like that! Repentance would mean working for the good of those he harmed — protecting their dignity, contributing funds towards their therapy if he has them. It would mean learning about the damage done, and then learning how to properly discuss those topics (of at all!) so as not to cause harm, both to those victims and to the other victims who hear. Do you see the difference? Cessation is passive, and largely beneficial to oneself and one’s reputation. Repentance is actively working to repair the damage at cost to oneself. And here is my profound concern: I don’t think other men in the church could even lead him towards that because I don’t think I’ve ever seen true repentance, in my entire life, from a perpetrator in the church. What I usually see is the perpetrator treated as though they are a victim. Men appeared in droves to surround their brother and defend HIS dignity, despite the fact that the bodies of two teen girls were violated and then discussed like objects in front of hundreds of thousands of strangers on the internet. No one gave a single thought to the victims, to justice, to safety. It was enough for them that THEY enjoyed his ministry — victims of abuse be damned! And if I or any victim is angry watching this play out because we know the cost — in our own bodies, our own life, in the lives and bodies of our daughters and friends — well, then we are man haters. We are unforgiving. If we express concern for safety, knowing the profoundly high chance of reoccurrence, we have no faith. Is this the righteousness of the church? Does it simply exist for the restoration of men’s reputations? Is it a place where men can safely and openly talk about sodomizing a teen girl because it’s under the blood? Is the church ever going to be a safe place that restores dignity to victims? Or are these girls, and every girl like them, simply acceptable collateral in the kingdom of God. Look me in the face and answer honestly: did God truly design the cost of both the violation and the restoration to be carried on the shoulders of those who are harmed? I cannot imagine that he did. #churchtoo

Paxton aquitted: Easy to understand. @DanPatrick took $3 million from Paxton supporters then aggressivly put his thumb on the scale. He protected Paxton & his mistress from testifying, pressured the jury for a quick verdict by threatning them with sequestering them in the Capitol

How corrupt was the entire process? The Texas Senate just dismissed charges they chose not even to hear any arguments or evidence about. Those are the securites fraud charges in which Attorney General Paxton has confessed to the underlying behavior #TxLege
