Not a prophet, not a guy. But some of you listened when you thought I was. ;) Not tweeting to change the church — just to let survivors know they’re sane.

If you’re a new follower, I’d like to take a second to explain my name. Up until this week, I went by Nameless Faceless Prophet— a reference to the “nameless faceless generation” prophecy by Paul Cain that was used to manipulate and exploit many at the International House of Prayer. I wanted something symbolic of the way so many of us were coming back to call the leaders who spoke that over us to account. It was also a personal reference—I was outlining my own right to speak up, because Paul Cain, the predator “prophet” who coined the term was also instrumental in enabling my abuse as a child. For a long time, I posted with a male avatar and handle —@realprophetguy—as a bit of a jab at sexism in the church and the willingness to unquestioningly accept self proclaimed prophets. But eventually I found my voice and tell my own story. And when I did, I wanted to do it as my full self. So if you’re new, my name is Susan. I’m not a prophet, and not a guy. I’m just someone who has lived under the weight of both spiritual and sexual abuse. So I care. 🫶🏻

If a reporter has a personal connection to a story, they should declare it and recuse themselves from covering that story. Unfortunately what we see over and over again from Basham is a willingness to become part of the story she reports on. She doesn’t report, she networks.
Basham is portraying her malpractice as "sharing something personal," but that defense is as flimsy as a cardboard hardhat. Journalists must set personal history and biases aside to report a story objectively. Her unprompted email to Sills shows she had no intention of doing so.

Franklin Graham with the incredibly intellectually solid argument that since we see actors pretend to die in movies, we should all be fine with watching a real person getting actually shot to death on live TV.

I've said this once, and I'll say it again: It's very interesting that the "We're electing a president, not a pastor" crowd is hyper-focused on James Talarico's theology. Suddenly folks care about a politician's theology again.

The moral/ideological space between Hastert, Trump, Epstein, Mohler, Sills, Basham, Howerton, the MAGA Christen rank/file, etc is absolutely zero. Same morality. Same compromise in pursuit of power, same narcissism, same willingness to ignore/commit evil for self benefit.
BREAKING Former Republican House Speaker and serial child molester Dennis Hastert has died. Hastert admitted in federal court that he sexually abused teenage boys while he was a high school wrestling coach. He never served prison time for that sexual abuse because the statutes of limitations had expired. He did, however, serve 13 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to illegally structuring cash withdrawals to evade federal reporting requirements, conduct tied to hush money payments to one of the survivors of his predation. Hastert was 84.

I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21. Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story: bbc.com/audio/play/m002yx47 BBC News: bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d… I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors. My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher. I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day. The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me. Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly: motherjones.com/politics/202… motherjones.com/politics/202… Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

Let me zoom out of this specific race and answer what trips up a lot of Christians when they're faced with... A) A candidate who seems nice but who wants to advance NET evil policies B) A candidate who wants to advance NET good policies, but seems like a jerk First, if a man wants to advance NET evil policies, he is not a good man, no matter how "nice" he seems. Wanting to legislate nation-or-state-wide sexual immorality is actually *worse* than personally committing sexual immorality... much worse. But second, let's imagine you're a Dad choosing a surgeon to operate on your child. SURGEON A will implant (rather than remove) cancer from your son, is telling you he will cut an artery, and if he does what he's telling you he will do, your son will slowly bleed our and die. SURGEON B has a generally good track record as a surgeon, is pledging to do the right things to try to put your son on a path to life and health, and has an irrefutable track record of aggressively attacking cancer... but he has had an affair. You stand back and say, "The lesser of two evils is still evil, I will not make a choice" and let other people decide for your son. ***overgeneralizations, all analogies are limited, etc etc all the caveats

In my opinion, Tim Tebow’s anti-trafficking work doesn’t negate the Life Surge concerns, it amplifies them. You cannot compartmentalize the two. Counter-trafficking *requires* a deep understanding of financial coercion and labor laws. The latter of which, Life Surge faces multiple lawsuits for.
Tim Tebow announced he is “pausing” his relationship with Life Surge following our investigation with @MotherJones. More to come.

This is the same dishonest tactic Megan used in her nakedly-bad-faith defense of Kevin Roberts: misrepresent the issue, ignore opposing arguments & explanations, and declare that calling her on it is "bullying" against which her evasiveness is actually a courageous stand.

Stumbled across this 1991 Olathe Daily News article today about Bob Jones’ confession of sexual misconduct involving a mother and daughter. John Wimber sent Ken Gulliksen, the Vineyard USA's North American director, to investigate. Gulliksen heard from the victims. He heard Jones confess. Then he told the newspaper: “Separate from the incident, he’s a sweet guy.”

A bombshell report from CBS Miami revealed a Grand Jury found the DeSantis administration led a “sophisticated scheme to fund political activities” with $10 million in taxpayer money meant for children’s health care. It’s clear from the Grand Jury report that our current Governor, Attorney General, and U.S. Senator laundered state medicaid funds through the First Lady's non-profit. Instead of those funds providing healthcare services for Florida’s most vulnerable, they were used for the Governor's political purposes. The Grand Jury report demonstrates the scheme was highly orchestrated, intended to mislead, and deliberately covered up. In return, everyone involved was then appointed or promoted by the Governor to positions of greater authority to further insulate anyone from accountability and hide the truth from Floridians. In fact, the Grand Jury acknowledged that the level of sophistication and lack of cooperation is what hindered their ability to recommend charges. As Governor, I intend to reopen an investigation into the laundering of state Medicaid funds. And I challenge Byron Donalds to do the same.

So pleased to see @howertonjosh promoting matriarchy— women who train & domesticate men are leading and head of household. 👏👏👏
Replying to @megbasham
Very, very dangerous. Wives domesticate men and children make them care about the future of society. Without those, you get A) undomesticated men, who B) don't generally care much about the future, so they don't use harnessed energy into building better homes, churches, societies for their grandchildren to inherit. become takers and breakers instead of builders and givers.

They were Calvinists, and Calvin taught that God rewards the righteous and punishes the wicked in this life. That view is baked in to the American ethos, in case you’ve ever wondered why so many people adulate the rich and blame the poor for their plight.
