Join me tomorrow for the @digitalesector '5G & Health' talk when I'm going to be discussing why 5G is the world's most censored conspiracy theory & how a few 10 second videos of people falling over in China sent the world crazy... mhealthinsight.com/2020/10/2… #mHealth #NLDigital
Fascinating to re-watch the "What should we learn from the COVID19 Crisis" recorded 8 months ago... #mHealth #LondonFuturists #COVID19 #5G

A decade on and the Irish Healthcare service hasn't managed to set up SMS appointment reminder services but people are surprised that they have no idea how to make contact tracing work 🤣 mhealthinsight.com/2011/02/2… #mHealth
thetimes.co.uk/article/coron… Ireland's contact tracing system - which was coping well - now seems to be buckling, similar story in Germany. Is this the moment when apps which automate the process come into their own?
Video consults with random Doctors are seances with psychopaths: "Hello R U there?" "Are U alone?" "R U addicted to Porn?" "Do U use skin lightening products?” "What do U love about being in a family?” "Do U have a rubber tube in your urethra?" mhealthinsight.com/2015/03/1… #mHealth

Horrifying to see Patients abusing their NHS GP clinic. I wonder if it might be rooted in the move to online during #COVID19 lockdown & the complete lack of proper training that GPs have had in the use of the tools of our time? mhealthinsight.com/2018/01/3… #mHealth
We’re so sorry to see this. It’s completely unacceptable for GPs and other practice team members to be targeted with this kind of abuse. General practice is making more patient consultations than before #COVID19 with more than 400,000 face to face every day.
We live in interesting times: +6 Billion people have no idea they just lived through a decade defined by the convergence of mobile & health. Some can't sleep from fear that they're about to get microwaved with 5G by a "Satanic Paedophile Cult" mhealthinsight.com/2010/01/0… #mHealth

..also today an email to me and other tech journalists accusing us again of covering up the 5G truth and somehow linking it to a satanic paedophile cult. Apparently we’ll soon get our comeuppance. I think some people have too much time on their hands
Talk about 5G and Health & you'll get censored by all the big internet companies and threatened by lawyers ...so of course I'm talking about it at a conference on the 12 November. Why not register to join me? (FREE) mhealthinsight.com/2020/10/2…
GPs are completely unprepared to manage Patients remotely. We urgently need the @RCGP to be more visionary & go #MobileFirst & train Doctors to use the tools of our time mhealthinsight.com/2013/06/2… #mHealth
I think most GPs are feeling more and more like frogs in the pot of heating water. Continued unkindness, abuse and complaints largely centred on the unescapable fact we are operating in a COVID environment (thus different). We're doing our best. @GPonlineLuke @eleanor__p
#mHealth has been universally popular for more than a decade (it's just all so pervasive most of us take it for granted) mobihealthnews.com/4027/succ… #HSBH2009
With mHealth becoming more popular as technology advances, many people will use mHealth to track their lifestyle habits. Although it is a good avenue to implement healthy choices into our lifestyle, will there be consequences on our health with an increase of phone use? #HSBH2009
The issues with social media & mental health aren't being published for 2 major reasons:
1) The impact is devastating but there's no business to be had talking ill of the work of the world's most valuable & powerful corporations
2) Researchers have their own mental health issues
When I was researching for this week's discussion post I was surprised to find there is little correlation with the time spent on social media and mental health problems (Coyne et al., 2020). It seems that the negative effects of social media may be exaggerated. #hsbh2009
