Our Executive Director Neil Johnson represented @GlobalHeartHub at CVCT - Cardiovascular Clinical Trialists Forum in #Washington yesterday, where he attended a powerful & inspirational session on #Women in #CVD #Clinicaltrials. Globally, women with #CVD #HeartDisease are underserved - one reason being they are under studied & under represented in clinical research. But the issue is much bigger that that - Systemic #Sexism, #Inequity and #Patriarchy is pervasive in the #CVD #ClinicalResearch community. #PatientVoice has the potential to be the disrupter. All stakeholders, need to stand up and be counted. GHH is committed to bringing #PatientPower to this issue.

#EuroEcho2024 is about to start. Although I won't be in Berlin, this is my #echofirst case of the year 1 year ago we were discussing miectomy w/ this 40-yr-old👩with disabling #HCM symptoms After 6 month's on #Mavacamten she's now NYHA I w/ no gradient! @IacopoOlivotto

The MS Register is holding an end of year online update on Dec 11 5:30-6:30pm & are asking for questions. Mine: 70% of ppl with MS are women. So gentlemen, cld we see more surveys on our specific health needs - menstruation, contraception, IVF? Thx for menopause survey- a start.
