We’re thoroughly enjoying the Canadian economy and #innovation discussions curated by @the_logic at #TheLogicSummit.
We’re proud to be sponsoring these important conversations and sharing our insights on the role of tech + education in innovation and up-skilling.
I'm excited to share some new music to accompany the long summer days ahead.
This mix sets you up for an ambitious dance party or as the soundtrack for a day out. Enjoy!

New life goal: find a restaurant that loads a smartphone-friendly menu when you scan their QR code.
If you’ve ever seen one, please share.
I’m thrilled to be speaking in just a few hours at #LEAP23 on the topic of #EducationForAll.

Why Tipping Is Impossible to Get Rid of in America. Tipping is racist and no one likes it, but restaurants, workers, and customers all tacitly collude to keep the system the way it is. kottke.org/23/01/why-tipping…
“Like all transitions, this is messy, painful, disruptive, and ugly. I am happy to see it in the rearview mirror and looking forward to better things in 2023.” ~ @fredwilson

“Twitter is probably the only global digital platform where elite institutions and powerful individuals share space with marginalized people. It has the power to quickly focus enormous amounts of attention on crucial issues.”

I assumed Twitter cancelled Slack use internally in an effort to silence competitors, but @sachee was then laid off for sending work tweets to her boss?
You’d think the dog-fooding and boss communication channel matching would be rewarded. 🤷🏻

@beatport Hey, the first screenshot is as far as I can get in Safari on macOS after hitting the Subscribe button at beatport.com/subscriptions.
If I switch to Chrome, I can get to the billing screen, but then I get the second screen shot. There are no invalid fields showing.

I don’t think a lot of people who went to college when it cost far less understand how many people are impacted by student debt. So I’m going to ask you to reply to show just a small amount of the scale of impacted people
How much student debt do you have and how old are you?
“With sorrow — for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection — we dissent.” ~ justices Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan.

Hey, @JoinLearners. This screen is so very cool. Is that a short-throw projector behind the screen making this happen or something else?
I do not understand the place for the 13” MacBook Pro.
This is a machine that uses an old chassis with poorer quality web cam than the MacBook Air M2 (how is that Pro?) at a cost of CAD $50 more than a MacBook Air.
Did Apple only release the 13” MacBook Pro so they could ship an M2 1-2 months faster by not having to source/retool for a new MacBook design?
13” available to order for delivery June 24; new MacBook Air not available to order until July.
