Submitting Fuse Balls to the Meta Store literally took minutes! The longest part was preparing the trailer, but all the images, icons, and metadata were compiled from my GitHub project & interactions with the agent while converting the game from iOS to VR/MR. Here’s Inverse Kinematics (IK) in action with my Hand Grab Pose Baker tool! This lets you lock specific joints, and the video shows the results.

Fuse Balls is officially available in the Meta Store as of this morning! 🎉 I’m really excited to have brought my old iOS game back to life with Mixed Reality features! This is my second VR/MR game, and I have two more in progress. I’ve learned so much about building hands-first experiences, and I can’t wait to share those lessons with devs building for Meta VR Glasses!

I’ve been quietly building a new Hand Pose Baking tool for Meta VR Glasses that also works with Quest devices. I had a lot of issues when I started: one object taking 2–3 minutes to bake, fingers going through meshes, and poses that just didn’t look quite right. 💡But why do this? Well, I think realistic hand grab poses with more variety can make interactions feel more engaging and natural, especially if we can generate them without any manual work. So far, I’m getting better results. It’s not perfect, but honestly, the improvements are so good! It now takes just 2–3 seconds to bake one object.

I’ve been a dev for decades, but recently I’ve developed a huge passion for agentic workflows. Combining the speed of these tools with my experience honestly feels like I can clone myself and have superpowers! The talented @AshrayPai shares that same passion and sat down with me for an interview at Meta Connect 2026. Hear what he had to say! 👇
"It's a human who has to put on the headset and see if your interaction is natural or not." That's @AshrayPai answering a question about agentic tools from Meta developer advocate @Dilmerv in episode 1 of Unscripted, our new series where a developer and a Meta developer advocate candidly take turns answering questions about building on Meta platforms. In this episode, Ashray and Dilmer shared how they use agentic tools to accelerate VR development. Scaffolding, SDK and package setup, debugging and test runs all go to Ashray's agents. Comfort and interaction quality stay with him, in the headset. He sums it up as anything that needs testing can go to an agent, and anything that requires judging needs a human. Watch episode 1 to hear how both of them use agentic tools in their day-to-day workflows and stay tuned for more episodes 👉 bit.ly/4k1BdLC #MetaVR #MetaVRGlasses #DevTools #AICoding

Here’s another example of what you can build for Meta VR Glasses! I previously shared placement options in another demo I built. This is a second prototype I’m working on called “Hand Skate.” It shows table placement, interactions with the skater character, hand gestures to control the skater, and a variety of skate parks and themes!

I love Iron Man, and honestly, this was such a great selection. Every time I want to reference futuristic UI/UX, I just tend to watch that movie.

I’m in Orange County this week and captured all of this with Meta Fury sunglasses! These are the non-Ray-Ban version, and honestly, the photos and videos look so good. Zero editing! 😎 - 12MP camera with 3K video recording - Over 8 hours of battery life - Discreet open-ear speakers and 6 microphones

Here are a few great features to consider when building your game for Meta VR Glasses: easy transitions between MR and VR, placement in midair or on a table, and multiple size options, especially for tabletop games. This gives players more ways to enjoy your game and adapt it to their space!

Spending the weekend experimenting with Blender MCP and seeing how it integrates with Unity & Mixed Reality! Here’s a look at the models + textures generated so far for a miniature tabletop game I’m building called “Hand Skate.” And yes, it will be controlled entirely through hand tracking! 🙌🛹

Last week, I worked on a small project to bring back a game I built years ago! It was originally made for mobile, and I used agentic workflows to turn it into a Mixed Reality tabletop game. 🙌 ⚙️ Tools I used: - Muse Code (𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗲-𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝟭.𝟬) - Unity / Unity CLI - Meta SDKs (ISDK, MRUK, PSDK) - Meta VR CLI - Adobe Photoshop My plan is to launch it in the store as a demo by tomorrow morning and I’ll be doing a video about my learnings! The original mobile game video is on this thread👇

Greg is honestly one of the most talented people in the XR industry. He creates experiences that bring out the magic of this technology, making digital interactions feel like a natural part of our physical world. If you’re building in XR or just curious about what’s possible, be sure to follow him and check out this thread! 👇
New follower? I’m Greg Madison. I’ve been pioneering tangible interfaces in XR for decades: making digital illusions part of the physical world, keeping us grounded in it. A thread on the ideas behind my work. 🧵 Here’s an early exploration from 2009. fr.slideshare.net/slideshow/…

📣 NEW VR Developer Showcase! Table Troopers combines turn-based tabletop battles with hand tracking and physics-driven destruction. For developers, it offers a look at how gesture controls, reactive environments and Meta SDK integration can work together in one experience. - Hand interactions: Pinch to place troops and aim attacks, mapping familiar gestures directly to tactical actions. - Destruction: Physics-driven terrain damage makes the consequences of each attack visible. - Interaction SDK: Meta's hand-input tools power the game's gesture controls. - Platform SDK: Friend invites, leaderboards and DLC purchases connect gameplay to platform services. - Content design: The optional paid Halloween Pack extends the core game with themed maps, troops and weapons.

Once again, I’m exercising, and this is exactly when ideas spark! I’m going to add IK (inverse kinematics) to my Hand Grab Baker tool. It’ll help a lot when devs need to adjust the generated poses.

When your hobby and passion become your job, every day feels like a new playground. I truly love what I do. Getting to work with the most advanced AI models at Meta, cutting-edge VR tools, and our upcoming Meta VR Glasses headset is honestly incredible. I couldn’t be more excited about where we are now in XR and what’s coming!

Passthrough experiences like this (MR) are going to be extremely useful going forward. Glad to see this running on Quest 3!
started building an AR interface for the @DobotRobotics Rover X1 in @godotengine, running on a Quest 3 still very early but this is already way too fun
