Does anything happen when 96% of fourth graders can't do grade-level math? I mean besides the state handing over half a billion $ for a school building. @NPSvoices @NewJerseyDOE @AlexSauickie @DawnFantasia_NJ

Today marks the solemn anniversary of a horrific act of terror that led to the deaths of at least 1,200 Israelis and the brutal captivity of an additional 251 victims.
October 7, 2023 was the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. It is one that we must always remember.
From my home state of New Jersey, I think of Edan Alexander, and his family, as he was held captive for 584 days before being reunited with them. I think of Laor Abramov and the 48 other Americans who were killed by Hamas terrorists.
Together, we remember the lives lost, the families torn apart, the communities devastated. We recommit to never let it happen again.

My heart is with every New Jerseyan still grieving the horrific October 7th terrorist attacks. Three years ago, Hamas murdered 1,200 innocent people and took 251 hostages, including New Jersey's Edan Alexander.
Even as time passes, the pain endures. People across our state are still grappling with the violence of that day and the years that followed.
New Jerseyans stand together in mourning the lives lost, rejecting antisemitism and all other forms of hate, and continuing our work to make sure every community can live and worship in peace.

Releasing spring test scores the following school year is an operational choice, not a technical impossibility. @redandexpert is right: parents and taxpayers deserve better from their state leaders.
