A lot of people asked "how did you do that" from the last post. This is the trick I learned a long time ago. It's basic perspective but it really does show how forms move in space. The trick to it is drawing an accurate top down view to reference as you turn the character.

So, I got an iPad now. What are some must-have I should get myself for illustration/animation/motion design ? I was thinking about Procreate, Rough Animator, maybe PS/AI ... Any good stuff for storyboarding also ?

I had this idea to create a walkcycle with a specific rule. The rule I set up for this animation was to have the whole character consist of just 1 continuous line and to never have the line overlap itself.

I'm currently looking into getting a new laptop, wondering what you animation fellas are using ? It'd be for the usual AE/AI/PS, & could handle 3d well enough (trying to get into blender 😬). Maybe considering an MSI, not sure yet
